Covers really well, thick and non drippy, best latex paint I've used
It took me a while to stir the 32-oz. can thoroughly with a propeller stirrer on a cordless drill because there was so much solids content, but that's a good thing. Then, dipping my brush into the can, the brush came out full without any dripping and the paint spread without dripping or sagging. It covered really well, best I've ever seen. It took a bit of extra work to clean the brush because the solids tended to stick to the bristles. Best to wear disposable gloves and have a brush comb on hand. I applied two coats to bare wood in an afternoon with perfect results. I wouldn't call it "flat" black – more like satin black. One could sand or rough it up lightly to take off the slight sheen, although that would reduce the durability. IMO this is excellent paint at a relatively reasonable price.

Great product
I was concerned when I did the first coat, as the purple in the paint was very noticeable, but I let it dry, hoping for the best. Which it is! It dried to a gorgeous shade of coffee brown which matches my stained wood furniture so well, you’d need to look closely to tell the difference. (Not saying it’s perfect, just that it does the trick) It dries to a soft finish and let the wood grain come through in a very natural way, so that I was able to use less expensive wood, since the price of wood was so high after pandemic. I love the texture. It’s easy to use with a roller or a brush and goes on smoothly. In short, great color, great value and you should buy it. Wish they had a lighter shade as good as this one.

Perfect for painting wooden furniture!
I used this semi-gloss to paint a wooden table that I had sanded the finish off of, as well as two wooden nightstands.I wanted to see the difference in how the paint looked when the wood had been sanded before painting versus not sanding it and this is what I found -If what you are painting over another coat of paint on something wooden without sanding it down and getting the previous paint off first, you will need 2/3 coats of this but it will cover it well, but LET IT DRY in between coats. I painted over BRIGHT YELLLOW paint on one of the wooden nightstands and after 2 coats you could not tell there was yellow paint under it. I did three coats just to make sure any brush stroked were covered and it looked nice but I probably could've got away with two coats if I was trying to conserve paint :)If you are painting over wood, and it has a finish on it, I highly suggest sanding the finish off first. It will take at least 3 coats of paint to cover the brush stroked and get a nice full cover of paint on. If you sand it down, this paint will absorb and sick so nicely and you really only need 2 coats.for the table I painted, I sanded down the top, but not the legs, and I certainly wish I had sanded the legs as well, they look fine after 3 coats but it took a while and I managed to only need 2 coats on the top and I think it looks a little better. This paint is not super thick, but not so thin that it's cheap and doesnt work. I would buy this again for sure if I was painting furniture again :)

Poor packaging
The package had NO BUBLE WRAP of any kind so the can was all dented up. Thankfully, it didn't leak or spill! And, the lid was not dented so I was able to open and close it.The paint went on smoothly and covered well, but was strong smelling.Well worth the price but.....

Beautiful color
Like any paint it seems more of a blue blue as youre painting it and looking at it fresh, dont panice! It darkens as it dries.. of course. And like any paint, if you paint it in the cold it wil crackle in the drying process. Appearing like theres spider wed or some white substance thrown at your door so make sure to do it when its nice at toasty outside!I love it. I lines the porch with pumpkins and added yellow mums inbetween. Sunflower wreath and an outdoor rug I found on amazon also.Looks great.

Great for terracotta saucers
I used this on my terracotta saucers and they work well. No water leakage. 1 can should last you a long time if you are one person with not much terracotta. Was recommended by Garden Answer on YouTube.

So far so good
I’m an interior designer and I wanted to spruce up my apartment. With winter coming I’ll be indoors a lot. I’m not finished yet but this is the beginning of the end of my gold bathroom walls. It’s really nice and goes on smooth. Easy coating, the thicker the more shiny gold.I can’t say anything for durability. I haven’t tried to scrape it. The inside of the tub will not be painted. I can tell you it’s oil based and hard as nails to clean up or touch up if there is a mistake. I was an hour with acetone nail polish remover and a razor blade cleaning up smudges and accidents . So there’s a chance it may be strong enough .I didn’t use a clear coat because I didn’t want to ruin the gold shine that appears so natural even to the touch. Be careful with your strokes and don’t over coat it will drip if you’re not careful. The good thing with that is it can be smoothed out. It dries fast but after second coat I tap tested and found my palm print in the paint after leaning.. soft cloth smoothed it right out.. it took 3 cans for this and I’ve already ordered another three. I have a lot of projects around here that need a little touch of gold. I also painted a wooden vase I purchased from pier one years go. I wanted something different and it gave me reason to test the paint before the bathroom project began.Again watch your drips. And enjoy.. it’s an artist’s friend

Not flat finish
I used this to paint a table and the finish is very glossy when it is supposed to be flat. I purchased a matte poly to go over it and that helped a little, but overall I’m disappointed with this paint. I guess you get what you pay for.

Good Paint
The bucket was MUCH smaller than I predicted, not very much for an entire room. Just baseboards perhaps. But paint covers a lot and is not thin.

Small quantity large price!!!
This is awesome paint. It is most commonly sold in a spray can. In the past I have purchased it in the can. When I went shopping I could not find it any where nor did any one know what I was talking about. It is very easy to work with. The rich smooth texture covers well and self levels like an oil base paint. The antique metal chairs will look wonderful for a long time.
