Worth It
I'm a teenager myself, and I found this cup a perfect fit! It took me 2 tries to get it right (I watched a TON of youtube videos about it first) So I picked it up quickly. I quickly noticed though that the tip was too long, so I cut it by about 1/4th an inch and it fits much better. Here is my personal advice if you are a teen looking to purchase one! 1) Buy water-based lube. It makes insertion 1000x easier. Just dab a bit on the rim when inserting, and some on your fingers when removing. It's a must-have. 2) Buy the appropriate wash. I found out certain soaps that have oils or fragrances can affect your pH and cause infections or damage the silicone cup, so I strongly recommend buying a menstrual cup wash specifically made for menstrual cups. It doesn't even have to be Saalt branded. 3) Boil it before you use it. When your ready to use it for the first time, boil it. Who knows where it's been before it came to you. It's an essential step. Before and after your period, boil the cup for 2-5 minutes and allow it to cool before storing it or inserting it. It keeps it clean and sanitary as well as prevents odors. 4) Understand that you'll be getting really up and personal with yourself. Yes, you will get blood on your fingers. Yes it'll be messy at first, but it's worth it, I promise you. I've been able to hike and swim with no issues or worries and no leaks and sleep comfortably. 5) Watch youtube videos and read about cups! This is how I learned everything I know. Again, doesn't have to be Saalt cup branded, OrganiCup has a very informational video on how to care for cups on Youtube, I strongly recommend watching it before inserting it. I hoped these tips help you! I really enjoy my Saalt cup teen, it's the perfect size for a small body and it's very comfortable and I wish I bought one years ago.

perfect size to start out with for those without experience in menstrual cups! i read a blog that recommended to start out with a disk from another brand first, but it ended up working horribly and would always spill (“self-empty”) with the littlest movement. i have never had that kind of problem with this, and i’ve continued to order from saalt; once i felt that i could move up a size, i did so until i found the right one. i love how convenient and body-friendly it is! i made the switch to menstrual cups to avoid the forever chemicals / bpas reported in many menstrual products (but not in cups!) and for the more environmentally friendly (and pocket friendly) period products. definitely satisfied. also no discomfort! not having to change it as often has been *so* important for heavy periods.

Non-Teen User
I’m a non teen user. I feel like a lot of cups were too big so I tried this. It’s very comfortable inside and easy to insert. It does not handle my heavy flow but it’s not anything wrong with the product it’s a small cup of course it won’t hold as much. This will be great for when I’m spotting. I feel like if you have trouble inserting the cups that getting this would be good for getting used to them.

Good for those new to menstrual cups (even if you're not a teen)
I am a 5'6" 110 lb virgin in my mid-twenties trying out menstrual cups for the first time. I originally purchased the soft small cup, and it was too big for me to insert it. I tried everything that was recommended to get it in over the course of several days during my period, and I could not insert the cup without a great deal of pain. So I decided to try this teen-sized cup, and though I haven't had a chance to use it during my period yet (and so cannot accurately give this product a full five stars based on its performance), I am able to insert this one. It still causes some discomfort going in, but I presume it will get easier with practice, and once it is inside I can barely feel it. So far I have not had trouble getting it out, either. I look forward to trying it when my next period comes and to stop using disposable tampons and pads.

I love it, perfect for petite girls
I love using it but it’s easy to experience user error and if it gets full it will send a mini flood of whatever was held in the cup so you have to watch out for how long you leave it in, otherwise it’s perfect for me to use when i’m basically done with my period and I’m only spotting cause I can just put it in and leave it to collect the mini drops of blood throughout the day without liners or mini tampons!

For Shallow Gals
I am not a petite teen, I'm actually a fairly solidly built adult lady, but I've come to realize that I am apparently the reverse of a Tardis (smaller on the inside, lol). This cup isn't all that much narrower than the small cups from other brands I've tried, but it is definitely shorter and much more flexible and that is the combination I apparently need. I've tried all kinds of cups and devices, but this one is hands-down my favorite. With other cups, I was very aware of them all day. This one is the first one I might actually forget is there because it just flexes and moves with my body. It's also easier to remove than even my pull-tab Flex cup because the long stem and flexible material means I can just kinda wiggle it down where it's easier to get the right angle with my fingers to break the seal. At the same time, it's also easier to insert because it's squishy and flexible. I do have a high flow and I was concerned it wasn't going to be big enough to hold it, but it's done just fine. If you are like me and are looking for a cup that is short, flexible, and easy to insert and remove, this is it.

I’m in love with this cup, I’m light so though this may be better than the adult one and it works perfectly!!! I work long shifts and a toilet is not always accessible, so I thought that this would be a good idea, no more having to plan to be near a toilet to change etc!!! Lasts the whole shift and is so easy, it’s not messy or hard to use!! If you haven’t got one, do it!!

This arrived before I was expecting it! I have heard all the things about how good menstrual cups are, and was willing to give it a go. But I was also quite nervous! When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find how small it is! I tried it and it was very easy to insert (punch down fold works for me). I also already prefer it to tampons because tampons dry as they go up where are menstrual cup just ‘slides’ lol. It was very tricky to get it out the first time, but I eventually got it by squatting and tbh you just gotta ‘feel around’ make sure you stick a finger to break the seal and you’ll be right! I highly recommend and will purchase saalt in the future!!
