So I have 4 of my grandchildren in the same house. They are 13, 11, 4 years old and 14 months. All the children absolutely love these. They love the look of them, the way they connect and the feel of them. I love the fact that they are not under my feet like legos!

There are few toys children of all ages will use in every life stage. I put off buying magnet tiles for years, even though ALL my stay at home mom friends suggested them, because i was worried about the magnets getting swallowed somehow OR them being a pain to tidy due to the tiny pieces.My oldest is 7 years, my youngest is a baby, and i have two in between. And ALL of my children love these.My only problem with them is I should probably buy more so all the kids can have more to use when all four of them are playing together with them.No magnet can ever really escape, even my eldest son, who is notoriously rough, has never damaged them- i don't think i could get a magnet out even if i worked at it with pliers. Don't worry about a baby swallowing magnets.They aren't even that bad to clean, at least they all will "stick" together.*EDIT*: We have damaged a few over quite a few months of using them HARD (as in- almost every single day, I'm not exaggerating). If they get stepped on, especially with shoes by adults on hard flooring, they will start to crack. At this point i throw them away, because i don't want to risk a magnet ever escaping- but i have never seen one close to doing so. Also please note, I have bought a second batch of them so my kids could all play with them together at once, and also given more as gifts to other families.

My little one is 3 and received a smaller pack of these as a gift from an aunt who thinks like me and gives educational gifts. When I saw how much he was into them, I got this item so that he could build even bigger items using both sets.So far he's made several homes with different openings, rocket ships, boats, pizza, hexagons (his words not mine), haulage trucks and other items. He's even created competitions (usual with himself alone and his dad or I are the time keepers) to build something specific in a time he sets. It allows him to use his creativity while also using his engineering skills. It also keeps him busy for quite a while (depending on his mood of course).The magnets are stong enough to allow him to build at least a 4 story building (don't think he's tried more than that). They are also able to withstand his throwing etc (except the one with the flatbed truck ... the tow piece broke off).All in all I'm pleased with this item especially as it promotes important skills (engineering, problem solving, design, imagination) which benefit all our little ones.

I purchased these for my 2 yo daughter as she loves to build things. They provide at least an hour of entertainment for her. She enjoys them because she can build towers, houses, trucks, etc. on her own and its an activity we can do together. I have purchased her two sets so that she can have more pieces. My only complaint and why I didnt give 5 stars is because I wish the magnets were a little stronger. The stick together pretty easy, but the also come apart even easier. There's no moving them in one constructed piece.

My grandson loves playing with these. He is constantly creating new things.

Arrived in good condition & the grandkids enjoy playing with it.
