Duerr's Ginger Preserves 16oz

I used to travel to London on business a few times a year and on one trip I found Ginger preserves when shopping for Xmas gifts at Harrods. My wife loved it, especially for making glazes for roasts and other things, so I'd make sure I kept a few jars in stock by making a side trip to that store when business took me there.I retired a few years ago and the jars soon ran out. We tried lots of different brands, but then came across this one a few weeks ago. My wife made a ham roast last week with this as the base for the glaze and we knew we had our replacement.Excellent taste, texture, color. A bit tart (as it is supposed to be).Recommended!

This is the best ginger jam I ever tasted! Super tasty ginger. I loved it. The price is high, so I won't order it as often as I would like. They used to have it at Traitor Joe's, but stopped carrying it. I found it at Sproat's, but they stopped carrying it too. Now, you can only get it at Amazon.

I liked the flavor but not enough ginger pieces of ginger

Far too many preserves are far too sweet, including many ginger preserves. This is the least sweet, but not tart, and the best I have found for those of us that love ginger. The occasional little chunks of ginger provide a delicious hit. Enjoy!!

Nice tangy ginger preserve. I had hoped for more ginger bits in it, but still very good.

This is a very flavorful preserve. It is one of my daughter and my favorites. It pairs well with nut butters, oatmeal and yoghurt and crackers.

This is a very nice ginger jam. Not for everyone, I suppose, as it has bits of ginger in it and can be a bit spicy when you bite a piece. I like it best on bagels with cream cheese.

Contains Fructose. Good jam but I have read repeatedly to avoid fructose. Some may disagree but that is why I gave these preserves one star. Otherwise, they are good. But because of the fructose, I won't be buying again.
