For a shade under 10 quid this does a couple of imprtant jobs for me, and does them well.First it makes the ipad more comfortable to hold in bed. The weight and square edges of the air 2020 meant that resting on my fingers it would start to dig in. The plastic here adds a degree of softness that makes it more comfortable.Next, it looks to add a degree of protection. I wouldn't bank on it saving a face down smash, but the lip sticks up a very small amount which may cushion a blow onto a flat surface. It's slightly rubber-like, so also adds a degree of grip.The case is also just deep enough that the camera bump on the air 2020 no longer protrudes, and is almost imperceptably recessed against the case.It was really easy to fit, but is snug enough that the ipad won't come out by accident.It has holes in all the right places for an air 2020. Shipping to UK from Amazon EU was also seemless and faster than predicted.This sort of case is not for everyone as it leaves the screen exposed at all times, but if you wanted to know about quality I'd say it's fine. I have no idea what it may or may not do in terms of heat dissapation, but I imagine that is true for any other case.

Most of the other cases come with lids, different kinds of plastic, textures that actually make it less grippy etc.

Nice and light case, very good to handle, even if it can make your palms sweat over long time.I prefer it vs a more rigid and rough model that I returned.A magnetic pencil is able to attach without problems.Can’t comment on protection as I haven’t dropped my iPad, but it seems fit for purposem corners have air bubbles and borders are slightly raised to protect the screen.Highly recommended.

The HBorna Case for 10.9 inch iPad Air 4th Generation 2020 is great. I've been using it for a couple of months on the latest iPad and it's great. Unlike many others, this has large cutouts, making it easy to use the touch to unlock feature. It's bendy and soft so doesn't crack.

Good quality case. Allows Apple Pencil support and feels good in the hand. Shows the space gray colour well. It’s not frosted. It’s Crystal clear

This was just what I was looking for as I like the clear TPU covers for my iPads. This one is well designed with the correct cut-outs for the larger touch ID button, speakers and ports. This gives the iPad a nice sturdy, non-slip feel and good protection against scratches and bumps with slightly raised edges around the screen while allowing you to still see the colour of back of the iPad. Recommend getting a glass screen protector to complement it.
