Very quiet, and almost identical to the fans which came with my case. Recommended.Attaching these to the front panel of a Fractal Design Define R5 case, I found myself missing the necessary screws. My situation is a bit unusual, needing 'long' screws for this mounting. The fans came with the more common short screws.Fractal Design advises these long case fan screws are #6-32 x 30mm; black oxide, flat head Phillips screws. They are almost impossible to find, but other head types are more available and work fine.Noise-absorbing silicone "screws" (which look like long nipples) are also available. These are attached from the rear of the mounting holes, with the fan slipping onto them from the front. I find the fans inaudible using the steel screws, but the silicone "screws" may be a more available option, if you need a long case screw.

I bought a Fractal Design Define R5 case that came with several of these fans, and I wanted more fans for more airflow. In order to earn some style points, I wanted them to match. I read the reviews here about stripping screws, so I figured I would be extra careful. I have tons of extra fan screws anyway.Honestly, the most difficult problem was getting each one out of the package - and the box is just thin cardboard. I installed three of them and had no problems with any of the screws. Maybe they fixed the problem? Maybe this caveman can use a screwdriver correctly? We may never know.

No complaints. If you've ever had Fractal fans, you know they're wonderful, quiet, and work well. I just replaced 4 of mine that were 10 years old with these newer versions. Love them.

One of my two 8 year old fans started rattling, so I bought 2 identical replacements. It works, and I expect now they'll outlast this PC unless I upgrade the mobo+cpu.

Great fan. Very quiet. I can't hear it. Fractal Design cases are fabulous. Seems like everything they sell is first rate. Not cheap but a fair price for quality.

The days of the jet engine computer fans are over! Nice and quiet, and moves a lot of air!

Needed this for a third intake, had to dremel a portion of the shroud to go around a rivet on the bottom of the case and kinda force it in, but here we are.

Love the airflow and how silent these are cant go wrong. Tossed a bunch of them in my R6

Ventilateur en blanc plutôt stylé. Il a un prix raisonnable, respire la qualité, silencieux. Il est parfait pour augmenter l'air-flow dans mon boitier PC. Je recommande vraiment :-)

Esperaba que fuese silencioso y lo es.No es de los que mas enfrían, tiene solo 1000rpm pero hace correctamente su funcion (en mi caso no necesitaba mucha potencua), y lo mejor, ni se oye.

Habe mir einen "normalen" 3pin 140mm Lüfter und einen 140mm PWM Lüfter gekauft. Den normalen habe ich vorne und an der Lüftersteuerung angeschlossen. Mein Gehäuse erlaubt mir die Geschwindigkeit selbst festzulegen, indem ich den Schalter auf 5, 7 oder 12 Volt stelle. Wie nicht anders zu erwarten war, bleibt der Lüfter angenehm leise bis unhörbar.Den 140mm PWM Lüfter, habe ich zum ausprobieren einfach mal am Mainboard angeschlossen ohne ihn einzubauen. Funktioniert natürlich Problemlos und ich werde ihn demnächst einbauen. Dazu muss ich die Grafikkarte und einige Kabel lösen, damit ich rankomme. Bezüglich Kühlleistung kommt noch ein Nachtrag.

Great quiet fan. I want my PCs almost silent and have spent much more on much wise fans. After getting a few of these with the (amazing value) fractal design Define S and R5 cases, I realised that these fans were much quieter than other more expensive fans I had installed. I now have all case fans as these and they make only the tiniest noise when you are up close. No buzz or high pitched whines. Of course, now I notice the CPU fan... Sigh!
