Sweejar Kitchen Canisters Ceramic Food Storage Jar, Stackable Containers with Airtight Seal Wooden Lid for Serving Coffee Bean, Flour, Tea, Spice and More - 39 Fl Oz (Navy)

I bought one of these jars initially, to see if I liked the design and have since bought two more. I have the 39 oz in Navy, the 59 oz in Turquoise, and the 28 oz in Gray. They are used to store coffee (59 oz), coffee filters (39 oz), and hot cocoa mix (28 oz) in a beverage area. All of the lids fit, except one that I can’t get to stay all the way on (28 oz). I might try moving the silicone gasket around on the lid, but it doesn’t seem to be a problem at the moment. As far as size goes, the 28 oz size isn’t large enough to hold the contents of a 13.8 oz can of hot cocoa mix. The 59 oz size works well to hold coffee grounds. It fits around 20 oz of ground coffee, and it easily accommodates a cup for measuring.The ceramic is glossy and free of flaws and just looks nice in general. I haven’t had any problems with cracks or chipping and have washed the jars in the dishwasher with no issues.

I was hesitant to write a review, but thought maybe there were others that could use them for the same purpose.My 17 year old dog passed last month and I have been searching for someplace to keep her ashes. She always had purple as her color. Although a unique idea, this jar is perfect. It's a happy way to display something that would other wise be sad. Her purple collar drapes on top.Loved it so much, I bought 2 more for my other two dogs. I now have a beautiful "rainbow bridge" corner in my home that honors their memory in a happy, discreet way.

Love the look of these canisters but it doesn't always seal. When you push down on the lid, it creates pressure from trapped air that has nowhere to escape so the air ends up pushing the lid up slowly. (You can see this in my picture on the right canister) The instructions say to push and twist which works better but it still pops up sometimes if you don't do it "just right"

Bought this mistakenly thinking that this 39oz canister could hold two 12oz bags of coffee. The canister is well made and well painted. The bamboo top comes with a silicone gasket. When pressed on to the canister (it does require some force) it seems to make a good seal.I upgraded to the 52oz canister, which also does not fully hold two 12oz bags of coffee. This is not the fault of the manufacturer, rather our inane system of measurement.I would recommend this product.

I absolutely love this canister. I purchased it to hold the sugar on my coffee bar. I am going with a Farmhouse theme so I customized it myself. I would definitely purchase again. I placed a soda can next to the canister in the photo for size reference.

This canister is cute and very sturdy so I gave it 2 stars. However, the product promised to hold 14 Oz and as you can see by my picture, it’s far too small. The size description was entirely wrong, it cannot hold 14 Oz, I would say 8 at the most.

I purchased the jar from Amazon as an open box in good or excellent condition. Jar arrived and it was beautiful. It was to be used on my espresso bar for dog cookies. I washed it with soapy water and then affixed a graphic on the side. Later when my husband got home he mentioned the lid felt rather loose. It was then that I realized that the silicone piece around the inside lid was missing. It was too late to return otherwise I’d have to remove my graphic from the outside of the jar. I contacted the company for a replacement. I figured it wouldn’t be difficult for them to send me a ring that may have cost 5 cents to make. They asked for my order number etc and I sent them screenshots with the product as well as order number. Their response was there wasn’t anything they could do because I didn’t purchase directly from their store. I like the product well enough. It is beautiful and I get plenty of compliments but it would not work for human food grade items without the ring. I would have been happy to pay a small fee for postage to have the jar functioning as attended. But honestly with customer service like that I don’t think I would ever recommend them to another person.EDITED: After leaving this comment, SweeJar reached out to me again and apologized for the misunderstanding. Apparently when you buy the open box item from Amazon they don’t include the ring (Amazon failed to mention that part). So to make things right they immediately sent me out a new jar set. I feel pleased and satisfied with the solution and the quickness of making things right. I’m updating my review with 5 stars now!

This is the second canister I ordered. I was looking for a small container to sit next to my sink to collect scraps for my compost bin in the backyard. We recently redid our kitchen and I wanted something that looks nice sitting on the counter. This does. Kind of odd thing though. I ordered one in Navy from another site, I got a black one. That would not do. But I saved to store sugar in my pantry where color doesn’t matter. I ordered a navy one through Amazon but I got a jade green one. It looks ok so I kept it. Not quite the color tie in I was looking for. So it seems no matter where you buy these the color you get is random. But they are quality made and look great with a great seal on the lid .

I use this to store my instant coffee and it's the perfect size. There's just one thing, it doesn't seal closed properly.
