Fresh Sicilian Candied Cherries - Italian Import. - Frank and Sal Bakery.. 1 Pound

These cherries are delicious and worked perfectly in the recipe I had. The seller was super responsive when I had a problem with the order and sent the correct product right out to me, which I appreciated very much. I definitely would buy from this seller again, as they were very professional and prompt and the products are excellent.

Perfect and fresh

I rarely buy these kind of cherries but these tasted good, they weren`t overly sweet. I made some bitter sweet chocolate cookies with these and they tasted good with these cherries.

Used to buy candied cherries from King Arthur Baking as they were the BEST. I was disappointed as I use the cherries to make Aunt Hanna's cookies and the cherry is literally the crowning glory for this simple, delicious recipe. The grocery store cherries will do in a pinch but lovely cherries like the ones sold by Frank and Sal glorify this simple recipe. I hope to see the cherries back on Amazon as they were worth purchasing. Highly recommend.

Delivery and packing was great. They are imported way of knowing how old they are. Looks as though seller may purchase and repack them. Taste is awful. Cannot use. Over priced. Paid $19. Purchased similar item in local grocery store for $4.49 for same amount. Not imported from Italy, but much better taste. Very disappointed.

These taste like cough syrup. I bought them for holiday baking but I won't be getting them again. They are very expensive and I didn't think the flavor was great. Sorry Frank and Sal!

Growing up in Miami in the sixties there were plenty of Italian stores that catered to that "old world taste". Well times have changed, and it's hard to find this "taste" anywhere. Highly recommended!

I used these for a special fruit cake recipe - not your normal hard, dry one. I could not find any locally. Found these on Amazon - fresh from Sicily- through a bakery. A little pricy but oh so worth it !!!
