Second update 10-20-2022: Daybetter just sent a second set of lights and these seem to work as they should. Easy to setup Wi-Fi and light scenes now work. The scheduler works like a charm and is nice to automate. Daybetter seems to stand by its products and they seemed concerned that I was a happy camper and had resolved in 3 Days. Thanks Daybetter!Update 10-17-2022: DayBetter just got with me and are sending out a new set. I will update my experience with the new set after I get setup again. I was really impressed that DayBetter contacted so quickly, maybe I should have just emailed the seller but Amazon said item could not be returned.I was really excited to get these and try out. We just purchased a new home and now have a man cave to decorate. Setup was easy and the adhesion was good. The bad thing about these lights is that they have no way to add another roll easy without splicing with a kit sold separately, and they should have a 4 prong female plug on each side with a 2 sided male to connect and should come with a 6 foot white extension cord so dont have to run lit lights up corner of wall.It took one roll to go half way around room, then I purchased a link kit and the other roll lit up ok. For a couple days!After a week the red started looking like pink a foot from where power connected then they started turning different colors even though I selected red. When selecting blue I got green, Blue and yellow which was strange. Another week went by and now they dont work at all. maybe the set was a bad one, I dont know but sucks to only have working for 2 weeks for 30 bucks and 10 bucks for link kit. I was expecting more as they looked better than most light sets.Live and learn while companies get rich off of defective toys...!

Edit: seller reached out within 24hrs of my post. They offered a full refund or replacement. Since I’ve seen other great posts, and my daughter living the lights, I requested a replacement. It was the easiest and fastest process I’ve ever dealt with for any kind of replacement. The replacement was in the mail the very next day. So far so good.Bought these lights as Christmas present for my daughter in 2022. She had a few issues with parts of the light strip turning different colors, but didn’t feel it was a huge deal. It’s now October 2023 and the lights don’t even work. At first we thought it was the remote so we downloaded the app. We realized it wasn’t the remote after all. You can see the lights are very dim in the dark. I’ve tried everything and it appears they are just broken. I would have given this a 5 star when we first got them. Very easy to install and use. I give 1 star because we did enjoy them while they lasted, but they didn’t even last a full year.

I usually never leave reviews for products unless they really stick out to me or for other reasons… whenever I received my lights half of them didn’t work. I contacted the company and within a 24 hour period they apologized for the inconvenience and sent out a new light strip for free and it arrived to my house in less than a week. Amazing customer service, and the lights work great, I love how the app works the ability to hook it up to my “Alexa” overall the lights are great and customer service even better. Would definitely buy again.

First, why I almost returned this: I very nearly just boxed this back up to return to Amazon for a full refund because nothing was working. Couldn't see how to open the remote to check the battery, plugged everything in and tried turning on with the remote--NOTHING happened. Went to day better.com to look for support: NONE. Tried searching generally and didn't find anything useful (in this instance, I was still trying to open the remote to see if there was a battery or not). ALL BECAUSE THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED! ...exceptThe link to the instructions wasn't in the box, it was on a sticker ON the box (which was unexpected, and I almost didn't notice). So after downloading the PDF from the QR code on the outside of the box, the instructions were quite clear. I had simply not pugged in the leads so they "lined up" with the arrow (which wasn't on the chord, but it was enough to realize that this mattered). So when I reversed the leads, it turned on just fine, and the remote worked. Getting to the battery wasn't intuitive, as the thing needed to be pushed sideways, which the arrow showed up and down. But it seems to be working, so I won't be returning.If the company only put the link to the instructions INSIDE on their other little "Satisfied" paper, I would have avoided all of this. So I'm simply writing this to help anyone else who buys and has the same "Where's the instructions?" reaction that I did. ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.

Just received this item, i purchased the 100ft (2 rolls of 50ft) to use them under my couch. They do feel a bit flimsy, but if you handle with care they work great. love that it’s able to be cut, very easy to install, and all lights work great. Colors are vibrant and bright.Cons: there is only one power adapter, so if you plan on using the two rolls in different areas, you will have to purchase a separate adapter. The white is a bright daylight white, and i have not yet figured out if there’s a way to make it a warm whiteOverall: would definitely buy again, great price and good quality

These lights are exactly what I was hoping for. With proper engineering I routed them to all the corners of the room and a 100ft was enough to complete the desired run. They have lasted a few months so far with no issues at all and they work flawlessly with Alexa, although the app allows more specific color changes. They are still adhered tightly in place like the day I installed them. I am happy with these lights and my daughter simply loves them. It completes her room. I highly recommend.
