Devotion (The Hunted Series Book 4)

With so many twists and turns and moments that jot you on the edge I found this book to be the best in the series so far. The love declarations over and over did get a bit too repetitive but I can forgive that as the rest was great.

This book was absolutely fantastic. The whole series has had me absolutely gripped.This book was a roller-coaster of a ride. It hit all of the feels. I absolutely love James. He is an absolutely fantastic character. I love his backstory, and I love how his character has developed. Penny has been fantastic as well. Seeing their relationship grow and develop was absolutely brilliant. I love them.All of the other characters were brilliant as well. We really get to know them. Melissa and Rob were firm favourites for me.This book had it all. The wedding was brilliant, and then everything went to hell. Oh god, Isabella is a complete phycho. Things just kept happening. There was a constant stream of twists and turns, which had me absolutely glued to this book.The ending was brilliant. Penny and James deserved their happy ending. I absolutely love James, and after everything he’s been through, I was so glad with how things turned out for him.I just absolutely loved this whole series. Everything was absolutely brilliant. The final chapter in Penny and James story. There is no doubt that they loved each other from their actions, each trying to protect the other but not communicating so things went wrong. His ex wife was a nutter (to put it mildly) she suddenly decided that she wanted him back and had money and influence to make it happen. She had people watching the couple and paid others to mess up the wedding. James ended up in hospital with Penny not getting any help from the police. Isabelle was clever at the lengths she would go to to split them up. It all came together at the end and its a good story.

This series is probably one of the best written series I’ve ever read. I just don’t want to put them down

When I completed the Made of Steel Trilogy by Ivy Smoak, I needed to read more of her books, as she is such an amazing author. I already had this series, in my thousand+ unread books, so I decided that this would be my next read. So glad I did, as like the Made of Steel Trilogy, I was hooked immediately. Ms Smoak's style of writing, and her wonderful characters, draw you in almost instantly and you just have to read their story. This is a story about forbidden love, jealousy, unrequited love, firm friends and family. I personally recommend any avid reader to read this series, as I loved it. But please, don't just take my word for it, read the series and find out for yourselves. If you have read my review of the Made of Steel Trilogy, by the same author, you may think that I am only writing favourable reviews, that I am being rewarded in some way. That couldn't be farther from the truth. I have never received any reward, monetary or other. I have just really enjoyed her books.

Another amazing book from ivy smoak,continuing her story of professor hunter and his fiance penny,its a will they,or wont they get married,they have so many obstacles in there way its unreal.I thoroughly enjoyed this book,you know where you get to a part in a book where it gets slightly boring,well you wont find it in this one.The love and sacrifices they have to go through is unreal,and the love they have for one another.This story is action packed and in parts will leave you on the edge of your seats.I have read this complete series from beginning to end and have followed james and pennys love story,and this final book in the series is the icing on the cake.Thank you Ivy Smoak it was a total pleasure to read this series,but i am kinda gutted its ended,hopefully in the future we may hear how the three of them are doing.xx

Great series of books, couldn't put these books down, the characters are all uniquely different, you can imagine just what they look like from the way the characters react and the things they say. A great story line easy to follow I laughed and cried such a wonderful book. Some surprise twist which make you think " I didn't see that coming". Definitely rate this series and will recommend to family and friends. Going to find it difficult to find a series I liked as much as this one.

This book was fantastic. The characters are so easy to love and the storyline kept me reading until I was finished. Highly recommend. Five star read for me!

I thoroughly enjoyed all three books, I am going to stop reading this series for now as I don’t want anything to spoil the ending of the last one. I always think of my parents and the fact that they had 60 years of marriage and my husband and I are only at 42 but our sons say they look up to us and want to have the same thing.

The entire Hunter series was freaking fabulous.One gets to actually feel every possible emotion the characters portray. Not just the relation between James and Penny, but their entire group of friends is so heart warming. Rob forever will remain my personal favourite. The love and loyalty all of them have for each other overwhelms you so much, it simply melts your heart a million times. Readers can’t help but crave for such deep love and friendship in their lives as well.💞💞💞

Spoiler alert!What a ride this was!I’m definitely glad that finally we got rid of Isabela , I was so done with her. Now Melissa and Matt I don’t like it and I think it’s because I read first the 3 Empire High book (Matt’s love story), I was mad that they are together but I trust Ivy to give us the right HEAAnyway I definitely recommend this series plus all the others book from Ivy

I read all 4 books back to back in 3 days. What a story. I was hanging on to every word. I’m been tossing up if I will read the light to my darkness series. I kind of liked how this finished and not sure if I can go through more heartbreak from these characters before another happy ending. Maybe I might come back to them at at later date. Until than it really enjoyed this author so I’m off to see what else she’s has
