what is the hoop size? is it plastic or wood?

The hoop is plastic and measures 6and 1/2 inches.

What is the fabric that you embroider onto? One user said it was difficult to get the needle through.

There are multiple pre-cut sheets of cotton backing. Needles will easily go through this fabric. There is also a bonus tote bag which is thicker material and requires a little more effort.

It’s easy. Just use an iron and follow the directions. Just be careful not to lift the paper until you are done so it stays aligned.
