Working good now
After troubleshooting, it turns out that the connectors were loose so changing my review. These are really bright! They fit perfectly and were fairly easy to install. The only "bad" thing I've noticed is that the spade terminals on the wiring harness seem kind of thin and as such don't want to stay in the factory connectors. Something like copper paste may help that. One thing I noticed is that the reflectors actually seem to be silver, not dark. But they are focused so well that the black bar (with the mounted LEDs) reflects them to the point they look smoked. I'm OK with that (or I wouldn't have bought them).

Fits but weird output pattern
I used this instead of the Truck Lite for a custom install on my Harley. It is bright but the light output pattern leaves a large dark gap on low beam. Makes for less than ideal night riding. Unsure what brand I will try next. This will have to do for now. Highbeam works great and fills the road nicely. But I cannot ride all the time with my highbeam on.

Bright, but might reduce your visibility to other traffic.
My application is a conversion on a motorcycle, and I can say that this light is greatly superior to a 35w halogen H4 reflector or any kind of retrofit you'd put in the OEM housing in terms of light output. Very very bright highbeam, and bright lowbeam. This light is a copy of a Trucklite 27270C, and as a copy, I do think the engineering has some shortcomings. The lowbeam is bright, but the beam pattern is somewhat compressed. It does offer crisp cutoffs that are genuinely impressive for a reflector housing, but the vertical compression in the lowbeam pattern means that an appropriately-aimed headlight appears pretty dim from the perspective of other drivers, and in low-beam mode, the cutoff is so sharp that almost no light reaches street signs when appropriately aimed. If aiming the lowbeam to hit those signs, the highbeam is pointed upward, not down road. Even though the light hitting the road is brighter than a halogen in low beam mode, it is more concentrated and the net effect is you will be less visible to other traffic. This merits your consideration if you're using these in a motorcycle, especially as a DRL. On the plus-side; this light is reliable and finished well; it does not fog, it holds up to the harsh vibrations of a motorcycle, and for a motorcycle application, the lower current draw of the LED is noticeable across the electrical system and makes for a happier bike as that stator isn't working quite so hard.

Not Just for Jeeps
I've got a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Xj and have a set of Truck-Lite LED headlamps that I just LOVE. Yea, I paid a LOT for them and over the past two years, I don't regret spending the money on them one bit. Until now. These HWDZ lights are pretty darn good. They are rugged, easy to install and illuminate almost as good as the ones on my Jeep XJ. They popped right into this 1974 Ford Pinto. Where other lights may dim when the engine is as low RPM or not running, these are always bright. I can see a LOT better at night. I did have to aim them down quite a bit more than the sealed beam lights, but that was pretty easy. My guess is they will work on just about any car that takes a 7" headlight.

Overall good for the money, but recommend stepping up to name brand
Looks great, light is polycarbonate so it does scratch. Aesthetically good looking. Color temperature is a hair colder than 5000k. Light brightness on low beam is mediocre at best. High beam is very effective. Cutoff is flat in the middle, high on the ends (\—/) light throw is not evenly distributed across the ground.

Excellent deal, half the price of Truck-Lite's
Excellent deal, half the price of Truck-Lite's. Easy install. Most important thing when converting to these lights is to do a proper aiming job. There are many good guides you can find with Google, the Daniel Stern Lighting guide (google it!) is good. Before I aimed mine properly, I got the "X" pattern you'll hear people complain about, it's because the light is aimed too low. Once properly aimed, the pattern was excellent on the low beam and had great throw on the high beam. High quality, indistinguishable from more expensive similar LED's. Lights shown in the pics below, the fog lights are TTX Lighting 4" 27W LED's, only $14 a pair here on Amazon! Look 'em up.

Limited illumination, electrical noise for radio
Installed this headlight on a 2018 Harley FLHTP with a 7inch LED Headlight Wire Harness Adapter, the light is bright but illumination is very limited, adjusted the beam height according to the manufacturer recommendation but it has a big dark spot between 20ft and the front wheel of the bike. I can compensate this with the fog lights that fill that dark spot, but if you want to use this on a motorcycle without fog lights or a car or Jeep, would be unusable. Also makes electrical noise for FM reception.

Plug & Play: 1979 Kawasaki KZ650 Motorcycle
To my surprise this was an easy installation for a 1979 Kawasaki KZ650 motorcycle. I was surprised because the original hardware matched up perfectly with this headlight. No modification was needed. The only difference is that the front of the headlight sticks out but 1/4 inch. Honestly not that noticeable. As far as performance I've only tested it as dusk. It much brighter for sure but won't be able to compare until it pitch black outside. I bought this headlight because if it's 35W draw. It should worked well with the vintage charging system unless the draw is actually more than what was advertised. The only con is that I noticed that the plastic lens scratches easily. I used a soft T-shirt and it appeared to make a few tiny tiny marks.
