1460 Women's Patent Leather Lace Up Boots

Very nice boots

I got these on a massive discount for a total of $54. Unbelievable. Claim this deal while you can- I stopped in DSW before ordering from Amazon and would’ve paid $160 + tax for these. Anyway, I’ve always worked in restaurants/bars and Dr. Martens are the perfect boot for the work- good grip (arguably nonslip although not advertised as such) and sturdy shoes. No such thing as stubbed toes, easy to clean, and last for years. They always take a week or so to break in, mind you. Can be worn any season, and they’re aesthetically versatile. My only complaint is that the patent leather squeaks- I hope this fades as the squeak is rather annoying and loud. The standard leather does not squeak, but I favor the patent leather’s look as it’s a bit more feminine imo. Runs true to size- I am size 8 and size 8 fits just right. I’ve narrow feet and find the shoe hugs my foot comfortably- I wouldn’t recommend this boot for anyone with wide feet. I still have a little room so I can wear wool socks with these in the winter for added warmth. Still, I wouldn’t size down. Shoe fits nice with all types of socks. Excited to see the patina develop on the patent leather, as these seem more durable than the standard leather.

Favorite boots, a little stiff but loosens with wear

They’re absolutely fantastic! I can’t wait to wear them with tights and a dress. They do fit a bit snug at first which is the opposite of most of my docs. I’m thinking it’s because of the material. I used the thick sock method and they’re more comfortable all ready. I love the shiny patent leather. It gives a little “sparkle” to the classic 1460 Without being over the top. And… they’re perfect for rainy/snowy days. At this price point, I can’t see any reason not to buy them! Great purchase, no regrets!

Too stiff and made squeaky noises.

Bought these as a gift for daughter. The photos show a regular black leather boot. I received a beautiful pair of shinny black boots. They looked perfect but I knew she wouldn't wear the shiny ones. I stopped into Khols to return them and received a refund within about 3 days. I would order from this company again.

I like the way the look but the shoe laces are two different lengths. One of them is at least 2-3 inches shorter than the other. If I could get matching shoe laces that would be great. I don’t want that to be the reason I return them :( it’s a small issue but it def makes the deciding factor of how I can style them.

Love the patent leather docs! Super cool. If you have wide feet size up. Ordered size 8 but I have fat feet 8.5 would have been better. Would have exchanged them but big price difference. Guess overstock on 8? Gonna try and stretch out and break um in. Delivery was lighting fast!

I can't say I'm not already loving these after just a couple of hours of wearing them and walking around! They fit brilliantly (I always use my EU size for any shoes and go off of that - size 39) and they are SO comfortable, supportive and lightweight. These are fantastic quality leather and I'm glad I finally took a leap to get this brand name - great value for money! I had Docs years ago (er... 28 years ago) and these are just as wonderful, comfortable and fashionable as back then. These will be shoes getting worn with jeans, work trousers and dresses, as they fit the bill for smart and casual. ❤️ For this type of leather (patent leather), vaseline as polish is great for keeping the shoes in longer service, so I will be babying these shoes.

Ich habe die Martens in meiner normalen Schuhgröße 39 bestellt und von der Länge her passten sie wie angegossen. Was ich bereits in vielen Rezensionen gelesen habe, dass die Stiefel in der Breite zu eng sind, war auch bei mir der Fall. Gleich am 1. Tag hatte ich eine üble Blase an der Ferse. Im Schuhladen habe ich mir Schuhspanner aus Holz (1-2 Größen größer) und Dehnungsspray für Lederschuhe sowie Blasenpflaster gekauft. Martens einzulaufen ist ja eigentlich immer mit Blasen, Druckstellen und Schmerzen verbunden. Das ist jetzt 1,5 Tage her. Zuerst das Leder von innen einsprühen, dann für mehrere Stunden die Schuhspanner rein, zwischendurch selber mal anziehen und ne Runde laufen! In der Breite sind sie jetzt auch perfekt. Nun muss nur noch die Naht an der Ferse weich werden. Also ruhig kaufen und gleich mit Schuhspannern und Spray loslegen, dann wirds nicht ganz so schmerzhaft :)

Las mejores botas que he tenido en toda mi vida, valen completamente la pena. Las compré en 2018 y hasta apenas hoy (noviembre de 2024) las jubilé porque el charol estaba dañado por un uso MUY rudo y ya merecían descansar, sino hubieran durado más tiempo. En cuanto a la funcionalidad, impecables, cómodas como el primer día, la suela nunca se rompió y siempre eran mis botas de confianza, pero voy a pedir otras así que es una inversión que lo vale totalmente.

Shoe fits great without toes hitting front. The tongue is very stiff and needs to be broken in so use of tall socks or leggings is a must to prevent blisters. Rest of shoe feels comfortable. Looks very nice!
