Any professional videographer will tell you that a good tripod is as important as a good camera. Some iterations can fetch up to thousands of dollars. I had tried several makes and models over the years and found this Ikan G05A2 to be a cut above the ones I have purchased in its price class. Features found on this model can be found only on more expensive tripods. The sticks are made well and the head, seems, for now, to hold up well. The positioning handle could be a bit longer, I wish the rubber feet would stay on and the tightening locks could be a bit smoother, but all in all this tripod has been a great addition to the setup. For less than $300 it's a complete winner!

Got it yesterday with same day delivery! Packaged great no issues. Did a quick test with my DSLR and 70-200mm lens. Very fluid, sturdy and extremely easy to set up and take down with the locking levers. Pan and tilt stops on a dime with no play in movement that will ruin a video. I plan on getting another soon for one of my other rigs as well as my doorway dolly to hold a crane and jib.Love it so far!!

Try and buy this when they are on sale...sometimes for $175 and then it's a steal. Solid, well featured, well packaged.The best feature by far is one the super fast setup because one lever on each leg unlocks both stages. And it still gets plenty high. Bonus - Decent mid-level spreader, nice bag.

The fluid head on this thing feels like gel, its glorious. the legs are well built, the head is like a tank and the case feels really nice. works to spec!

Well built and steady. The head is uncomfortable and difficult to raise when you have something heavy like a teleprompter and a camera on. It doesn't fit all dollies.

An entire Tripod leg failed and sent my C100 Mark ii crashing to the ground on a wedding shoot this past Saturday. Over $2000 in damages to the lens and camera and there isn't a single phone number in operation for support. Lets hope they can make reparations right when they finally contact me back.

This tripod is solid and stable. The available roller makes it vary usable. The fluid head is very adjustable and smooth. I would recommend to all in need.
