Great for crafts
Good, small gun. Serves my purposes perfectly for little crafty projects. Warms up fast, good sticky glue. No problems with it. Comes with enough glue sticks to last me for several projects. Exactly what I was looking for and good price.

Does the job perfectly!
Love this glue gun, my first attempt at crafting. Works great, price is very good, and comes with the glue sticks. Wonderful deal, can't beat it. I had great service from the time I ordered it until it arrived, no issues at all.

A Good Inexpensive Glue Gun
This is our first glue gun and in all fairness we have been going through a learning curve using it. Unfortunately our experience with it got off to a mixed start as we were trying to glue down some paintings on a frame type that requires the use of glue. The paintings were going to an exhibition and we had five that needed the glue gun. When we got to the exhibit hall two of the paintings fell out and we had to re-glue them using a tube of glue we had brought along for emergencies. The other 3 paintings did stay in place although we were somewhat nervous about them staying in the frame and hoped they would not fall out on the floor during the show. Thankfully that did not happen and they made it through the show on back home still securely in place. Before we used the glue gun the first time I checked on line for additional instruction on glue guns and picked up some pointer on what to do and what not to do. This glue gun comes with a tiny metal wire stand that will hold the gun in the upright position if you have the cord laid out straight behind it; any sort of torque on the cord is enough to turn the gun on its side which is a real no, no.To the best of my knowledge, we used the glue gun the same way on all five paintings so why two fell off and three stayed put is a mystery to both of us. One of the nice things about the glue gun is there is no clean up or maintenance required; when you're done you just unplug it and let it cool. For the price, this glue gun is probably a good value; it does melt the glue and puts it where you place it. One thing we noticed was its voracious appetite for glue sticks. If you're going to be gluing a lot of stuff you better have a really good supply.

hot glue novice
I've never used hot glue but wanted to fix a lining on a pair of boots the shoemaker wanted over $100 to do. I saw instructions to do it myself on the internet and bought the glue gun. I am super impressed with the capabilities of hot glue in general, this gun is OK and does the job. I can see how it could be improved with more investment in a gun, but I didn't want to spend more. It is hard to get the glue to flow, but I think I needed to heat it longer before starting (it says one minute on the pkg, but the other reviewers say up to 1/2 hour, 10 mins seemed about right). It doesn't use the whole glue stick you have to add another one to get the trigger to continue to work. It made glue "strings" when I pulled it away, I'm not sure how to stop this, other than just wiping it up. It's hot. I didn't burn myself until I was almost done and got over confident, going for perfect, and it was pretty minor. It didn't get burn-me hot until after about 10 minutes when it really started to flow, but the glue also worked better when it was really hot. So be careful, but it is a handy little tool and works well. Boots perfect for $6.

Works well
I like the way it heats up rapidly.

Can't beat if for the price
When I first opened the package I laughed because the cord is only 3 feet long. But despite that limitation it glues like a champ. When I saw that resting the gun on the little metal support that positions the nozzle face down, which allows the glue to drip out, I made myself a little holder from two small blocks of closet cedar, which I glued with this gun, into a "V" shape. I stand the "V" on edge and rest the gun face up. Now no drips.

Handy little glue gun
Great little glue gun! Worked great for my flower crown projects (one for me and one for my dog). Singer is a great, trustworthy brand and I would recommend to a friend!

good for the money
Cheap product but it gets the job done. There is not on/off switch, just plug in and out. there is a stand but it is flimsy and doesn't stay in place. I just use and old towel underneath the work i am doing to wipe of excess glue and set the gun on when not in use. product comes with plenty of extra glue sticks which is nice.

Does not come with UK plug.
Buyer beware, comes with a USA not UK plug. Product description says 'made in the USA', but does not mention this.
