Amazing quality and finished product.
I really like this cheese maker for Tofu as it is enviromentally friendlier than the plastic variety and there is no risk of any clips getting broken. Here i put a heavy jar on top and left it there as in the pictures for about 40min because I wanted an eztra firm Tofu. I used 500gr of soy beans and made this big block which is about the same size as the shop brands but it tastes so much better! I suppose just knowing is fresh and does not have any preservatives makes it tastier. It is extremely easy to assemble, the finish is great and does the job, plus looks amazing, is eco friendly, easy to store and comes with zero waste packaging- no plastic on sight. The only thing that I would like is to have something to attach the little wood wedges to for storage as unless i keep it assembled the little pieces are loose and can get lost (i have children and tend to do crafts with whatever they find) so what I have done is just store it (after washing it and drying it upright) in the box it came in. Overall i like it and would recommend. You can try making biscuits with the pulp or drying it in the over to use it as flour instead of trowing it away as there is a LOT of it. Also, put a big saucepan underneath to catch the water as there will be a lot too!

Yummy tofu at a bargain price!
The first thing you notice about the tofu press is how nicely made it is. No cheap horrible plastic here. Putting it together was fairly simple. The kit comes with fairly basic instructions which are easy enough to follow. Here's an idea though. Why not put a QR code on the box linking to an instructional video on Youtube? Welcome to the 21st Century......... The first time we used the press there was a bit of faffing around. In fairness this was largely due to us finding out the optimum way of doing things. Do bear in mind that if you make the full amount of tofu in the instructions you will need some quite big cookware. For example, the soya beans soak in 3.5 litres of water. The time that you press the tofu doesn't seem to be critical. We wanted quite firm tofu so we pressed it for abour an hour. If you want softer tofu obviously press for less time. You can over-press tofu so I would never leave it overnight for example. So what was the final product like? In a word delicious. Just as good if not better than shop bought. If you make tofu yourself it can be surprisingly cheap as well. Making the full amount of tofu uses 500g of soya beans. My 3kg bag of beans cost me £10.87 so each batch of tofu costs £1.81. In a time when we are all watching the pennies that's pretty good value for money!

The best! Never thought making tofu could be so easy.
As Asian I grew up in a country where tofu and Tempe are almost a staple food. They can be find every where and si cheap! I always thought that the process of making tofu is complicated and takes time. But I was so wrong! This box makes making tofu at home so easy and simple! Worth every penny! Good quality bamboo and well-made.

Great product from a small business
I spent a lot of time looking for a tofu press and wanted a wooden one rather than plastic as I was scared incase they'd break and I wanted something more eco friendly. I came across this product whilst scouring the Internet and was hesitant as there was only a few reviews. However I bit the bullet and went for it and it doesn't dissapoint. The product itself is solid but is easily collapsible for easy storage. I also enjoyed the instruction leaflet that was included as it has more information than what expected. Good quality product and would highly recommend.

I would like it a bit larger
Perfectly conceived and beautifully built I would wish to have one built 1.5 times larger to accomodate easily the amount of silken tofu made from 500g of dry beans

Great design and sturdy
Used this to make tofu for the first time, and will definitely do it again. The press is well made and well designed, collapsible if space is an issue and comes with a helpful book to get started. Definitely worth the money.

Really useful, endless possibilities.
I bought the tofu box for my 17 year old granddaughter who loves to be creative with vegan food. It is a great success for the whole family. She makes things with the soy bean liquid too, like granola and biscuits. Amazing! A full cupboard of goodies for 500g of beans. Great product.
