Works fine.
My Lenovo MOBO requires a 14-pin main power connector, and this adapter worked fine with the 24-pin replacement PSU. No wire ties though. Other than that, really well made and definitely long enough. Good product.

Does the job
These adapters worked great! I was able to use it to put a higher wattage power supply into my Lenova Think Center tower. The only modification I made to the cable was removing & taping up a couple of pins that were not used on the original motherboard power connector. I did not want to take a chance on putting power to the pins that were not originally used. One review I read on another website stated that their computer would not power up when these extra pins on the motherboard were powered up.

This thing is a Gem if you use it on a Lenovo Thinkstation E32
I needed to add an 850-watt power supply to a Lenovo Thinkstation E32 because I was adding an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080 for a user of mine that was doing heavy graphics and Cinema work on the PC. The power supply I had has 24 Pin power connector to the Motherboard, Well the E32 has a 14 pin connector on the Motherboard ( proprietary ), I purchased this in hopes that I did not have to buy a 5K PC...I got it in the mail and connected it to the 24 pin connector to the 14 pin connector on the MOBO. The connector worked and powered up the workstation. I am happy I saved the company 4.2K. more important was that the IT director was happy. This is made of any other connector the braided wires helped immensely. Easy to install.

Perfect solution for upgrading PSU in Lenovo PC's
I was in a real bind when I wanted to upgrade the GPU and PSU for my Lenovo PC and didn't realize that Lenovo used a 14-pin connector for their PSU. I thought I'd have to get a new motherboard or PC altogether but this made it possible to use my rig for moderate gaming without having to replace the motherboard.

Dude you got a Dell, now get a real power supply.
The underpowered PSU that came stock with the refurbished DELL was just enough wattage , and by just I mean within a few watts on the + side of what was needed. (280 and needed 275 as configured)I wanted to add a decent GPU so I needed to bump up to at least 550 watts.Problem:The Dell mobo uses a small 14 pin PS header any decent PSU sold to humans on Earth has a 20/24 pin connector.Solution:Spend a few hours making your own connections to the stock connector and possibly make a mistake.OrBuy this connector adapter. Problem solved. This one is nicely encased in a protective shroud with real heat shrink to close the ends.Works perfect.

It works
This cable does work pretty well especially when you're putting it in a machine that plays games so I was using this cable to plug into a Lenovo motherboard for a 24 pin power supply which is 600W the Lenovo had a i5 3470 and the GPU in the system wat a RX580 8GB model form XFX what's the card on its own can draw up to 125 or more watts depending on what you're doing for me I was playing games like Modern Warfare 2, cyberpunk, Halo infinite, rocket League, fallout 4, fallout 76 and other games at 1080p medium to high settings.
