Better than expected
They work similarly to a paper stump and do a great job pushing the pigment whichever direction. I think they're better than stumps because you can easily remove the pigment that sticks to the tip of the blender. It sharpened easily with a knife. After using the blender, I was able to apply more color. With this blender, I could remove all the apparent colored pencil marks as if blending with solvent. I also used it over graphite pencil, and it worked like a dream. I'll probably stop using stumps in favor of these blenders. Also I just realized they work like a fixative as well. It's very hard to smudge after using these! I'm going to be experimenting with these on other mediums like pastels and watercolor. I recommend that you try these or some other pencil blender. I haven't tried any other brands.

I can't color Wirth a hoot, but these blending pencils make it look good!
These work very well with Prismacolor pencils. I'm not an artist by any means, but I make cards and color with Prisma. Once I do some shading with several simular colors, I go over it with the clear blending pencil. It changes the whole look, and makes my mediocre coloring job actually look pretty good.

I use these blending pencils to blend my prisma color, colored pencils and my poly chromos, as well as others, and they work perfectly! Will always keep these on hand.

Can't do without them!
After using them on my Prismacolors, I don't think I can ever do without them anymore and good thing I got a lot (8 pencils). They really help create a blended and smooth look to your pictures -- it smoothens the lines, clears the white spots without lightening the colors like when you use a white pencil for this. If you happen to be heavy handed with the dark colors and rub it towards the lighter ones, it will make the lighter colors darker so care is still needed when using this. This pencil is also perfect if you want to create a distressed/smudged look like the edges of clouds, etc. I also noticed when I used this that the colors became more pronounced and vibrant. If you own wax-based colored pencils (even if they're not Prismacolor) this will work. I own Faber-Castell Polychromos and this didn't work becuase FC is oil-based.

Useful colouring tool
They were less expensive per blender bought in this bulk. Delivery ahead of expected. I don't use these all the time but I find them very useful when I want them.
