I borrowed from my friend a big and older version and finally, I bought my own. This one is so beautiful, I love how small it is and still is everything in it. I ordered a used one and looks like a new one, thank you!

A reference book.

I love this book for finding specific oils to use in specific conditions. It's organized alphabetically and has an index. Each oil and oil blend has its own page with quick facts, properties, uses, body systems affected, safety data, and more. There are also charts and tips in the back for diffuser blends, oils used in cooking and first aid, substitutions, and body systems affected by each oil. Basic general instructions for oil use are in the front of the book. It has many recipes and ways to use oils daily in the home. The chemical components are now all in one area. It is in a smaller, paperback format making it easier to stick in my backpack for road trips.

This is a good go-to essential oil reference, even if it seems to focus on DoTerra products. I believe there is a need for a magnifying glass in order to read some of the pages. The attempt to make this an attractive book places light-colored type against light- tonal pages, so good lighting and better than 20-20 eyesight is a must. The organization of the information is excellent although not all-inclusive as the world of essential oils expands. I prefer this publication to those titles for Young Living essential oils, even though the graphics in those publications are very good.
