This book should be in every believer's library! The author has done a thorough job of demonstrating the diverse modes of hearing one's call. I was also impressed about how he took the various individuals' stories and showed how important it is to understand that one's calling does not necessarily follow a linear path. Additionally, he explained that following one's call is usually progressive and may emerge in tandem over a uncertain span of time. Carol G.

A generous book
This is a generous book by the author written to help seekers hear their calling from God. He relates the stories of many people whom he encountered and spoke with about their life's ministry. Most of the stories were church related and helping people in difficult circumstances. I am an artist/writer so I wondered how and where I fit into all of this 'service' but the questions and the stories were engaging. The voice of the author is sympathetic. At the same time I read a book called 'Mother Teresa's Prescription' which complemented this one very well. Best of luck to anyone who reads this book!
