One thing to know, CHECK the directions before applying the magnetic strip. I accidentally placed it sideways and had to reapply it the right way for the sheet to stick properly.

Pretty easy to install, mainly have to apply the magnetic sticker onto the existing build plate, and bam, your mat is ready to place. Provides a better way to flex prints off, rather than peeling. When it's brand new, I've had a few of these, they stick extremely well, almost too well, although that may also be my nozzle is too close.Anyway great mat, 5 stars, inexpensive. Easy to use.

The metal magnetic plate that came with my Shark v2 was great. Loved it. But, also, I learned on it. I learned alot about bed leveling and later, setting up bed leveling sensors on that plate but I'm pretty sure I had ruined it because it was nearly impossible to get a good first layer.Looking for a quick replacement, this one matched close enough. It's slightly smaller than the plate on my Lotmaxx, but not much (plenty of room for the prime line even).I have found this to a life saver.After installing this sheet, I installed a new bed leveling sensor. Ever since I've had some very reliable prints. No first layer issues anymore. It's gotten to a point that I can pretty much tell it to print, and I can expect to come back later to a fully printed whatever it is.

These plates provide good adhesion but impossible to clean at times and can get damaged easily

Before I learned about these flexible magnetic covers, I was resorting to placing my build surface in the freezer to remove my 3D prints. Now I can just peel off the magnetic cover (after removing the binder clips that add extra security), gently bend it away from my print, and the print comes right off.

I've used several other build plates. This one seemed like a good deal but I was ultimately disappointed because 1) the filament gets glued and absolutely stuck to the bed from the first layer and 2) the magnetic adhesive side had bubbles I couldn't iron out. I could deal with the bubbles and imperfections on the magnetic adhesive side, but the prints getting stuck on the bed is a show stopper. The first print I tried would not come off even after I heated the bed to the top range temp to hopefully make it easier to peel off. I don't have this issue with any other beds that I use when all other factors are the same. I'm returning this one and hopefully I just got a bad one the first time around.

These work so well. I wish they sold clips with them but I have one on each of my 4 printers for easy removal.
