Very interesting, unique book. Much better than I thought

Purchased for a student that was interested in different languages and countries. Tons of information nicely written. He loved it!

My charge wants to explore all languages and is becoming quite a polyglot. He loves this Christmas gift!

Has interest for adults too, with a wee bit of very many languages.

my niece is thrilled with this book. it has engaged her as much as i had hoped.

I borrowed this book from the library. While the book does an overall good job at picking out common expressions from different languages and dedicating one page to each language it covers and the location on the map, I decided to not buy the book for my classroom because I do not want to include any books in my library that erase Palestine from the map and their identity and replace it entirely with Israel. It is wrong and abhorrent.
