Like 2 Books in 1 -- a Motivational Read and How-To Manual
We've all been there, in that place where we either hold back or plunge forward. Jeff calls it the Moment of Discomfort moving into move into the Moment of Decision. For sellers, this is often the pivot point that makes or breaks the sale. It's the split second in which that nagging little voice says "don't be too pushy" or "I can't..."Anyone who doesn't want to move out of that place of discomfort should be warned. Don't read this book if you would rather remain complacent and like being in a discomfort zone. Like it or not, once you read this book you won't be able to stay where you are.Jeff makes it too easy to change and become more bold. He strips out all the possible arguments for not being bold. He lays out 4 easy steps in a simple path to overcome discomfort and compellingly describes all the benefits of being bold. All my "yeah buts" were handled as I read the book and transformed into "ahas!" as I worked on the simple exercises that personalized this book for me.Having read this book, I feel inspired and ready to move outside my comfort zone -- both in selling and in other aspects of my life.

Great book on how to handle the discomforts in sales we all encounter
I have had this book for a couple of years, got half way through it 2 years ago, picked it up again recently started over and finished it. I wish I would of finished it a couple of years ago.I enjoyed it because it tackles the discomforts all sales people have whether it's cold calling or following up. It discusses the story we tell ourselves why we shouldn't do what we know that needs to be done and how we rationalize it. This book isn't full of tricky sales techniques or one-liners, it's more on how to get your mind right and 'power' through your fears and discomforts we all face in sales.Highly recommend this to anyone who is starting sales, done it for a while, or done it for a long while-great book!!

Another great read and sales tool! Excellent book!
Jeff Shore's book "Be Bold And Win The Sale" is a great read and tool to use in your daily routine with customers. It was very educational and gave me a new outlook on how to "win the sale" I love the practical approach Jeff uses in the book, he does not follow the script idea so many others do! It is great to learn from someone who has been out in the field and knows what the day to day on the sales floor feels like. I do use it as a training tool with my sales team and it has been a big hit! Jeff has mastered objections and discomforts every sales person tends to face at one time or another! It is always great to read or hear Jeff speak! He is a true motivational speaker in every sense of the word whether in person or in writing.

Nothing new, but inspiring and valuable
If you in sales and need that "something" to get you out of your rut, this is a good read.Nothing really "new" in it, but written in a way that inspires and reminds the reader just how much they can accomplish if they are willing to overcome senseless fear.

THE guide for identifying and overcoming performance-killing inaction.
I've long been a fan of Jeff Shore's approach to sales training and coaching, and Be Bold and Win the Sale is another example of his practical passion for the craft of selling, and his desire to help sales professionals succeed. This is not a book packed with closing techniques. The book addresses the "why" of our actions, and more importantly, the "why not's" that stop salespeople from performing their best. Shining a spotlight on the fact that "growth begins at the moment of discomfort," this book provides tools to identify and exercise your "boldness muscle," and then lean in during those moments of great opportunity and succeed.Any salesperson that has ever talked themselves out of asking for a sale, or told themselves that now was not the time to follow-up with a prospect (which is almost every salesperson I know), this book has some very valuable advice. Read it.

I LIKE THIS BOOK
I Like this book, because it pinpointedly pokes at the pain-points of what is keeping us from doing what we should not be doing and to not do it. Also, conversely, this book pinpointedly pokes at what we should be doing and how to deal with the "paradigms" of how to get to where we need to be to do what we need to do. I also like how the author unashamedly declares his faith in Jesus. It doesn't get any better than this simple, down-to-earth and common-sense sales help and advice than this.

Many sales books receive unwarranted 5-star reviews, this book is not one of them
I debated on whether or not I should write a review for this book. On one hand, it has been one of the most insightful pieces of literature I've ever come across. On the other hand, I did not want salesmen that I compete with to come across this. In the end, I decided that what I gained from reading Shore's words justified this review. This book will provide relatively new salesmen with the necessary foundation in order to prevail through both their daily struggles, and their much larger ones. This book will enable seasoned sales reps to create a humane framework for their approach that increases their quota.Articulate, insightful, and most importantly, applicable, this is one of the few must-reads that all salesmen should internalize if they intend to maximize their potential.

The Title Says It All
Many sales books teach you about the finer points of selling, strategies, techniques, etc. But what good is any of it if your head is not in the game? Jeff teaches you that you have to get your head right before you approach the sale. Reminds me of a martial arts book that I read years ago, I believe it was "Real Fighting". The point was, unless and until you get your head right, no training or techniques will do you any good. Just as a fighter cannot be timid, neither can a salesperson. This book will give you that perspective you need to approach every sale boldly. Good stuff.
