Look great, easy installation, spring loaded is worth it

This is NOT heavy duty!
This product is no more heavy duty than the less expensive ones. Cheap paint job also. Don't waste your money.

Custom access door for under stairs
When i started searching Amazon for these hinges it was after checking multiple local stores but only finding the kind cut specifically for precut doors. I found some without the spring but i didn't want to install a latch on this door so i checked Amazon and these are exactly what I needed. Installing and adjusting the tension was easy even though this was my first time installing a spring hinge. I might have to get another few sets to install on my shed doors.

Springs will not work as designed.
Used 4 hinges, on 2 screen doors. Unable to tighten enough to close the door, even had to use 2 “pins” in order to turn to tighten the spring. Then, 2 of the 4 hinges the spring “end” came out of the housing, then the spring was junk!Would not recommend buying. Had to purchase old fashioned springs in order to get the doors to close themselves.
