These magnets are STRONG. If you need to hang almost anything from a steel surface, these are the way to go. I use them to hang light panels from metal shelves, railings, doors and more. Once in place, they don't budge. It takes some effort to remove them.They're also fantastic when you need to mount a sports camera on a vehicle - slap it on the hood or door and these stay put. Actually better than suction cups - and more reliable. Plus because of the rubber coating they don't scratch.There's a 1/4-20 threaded hole in the base and included 3/8-24 adapters.Photos: Light and ball head mounted to base. Did not receive what was pictured, I received the right magnet but with a male 3/8 thread that was 2 inches long which was the opposite of what I was trying to buy for my camera project. The magnet and coating is perfect and if I would of received the correct product it would be 5 stars. It was too much of a hassle to try to send back since once you take them out it’s really hard to repackage with their strength.
