I received my mattress on 12/12/21, I had it delivered to my sister's house since I wasn't going to be home and I have a 2nd floor apartment. My sons picked it up and unboxed it next day. I can see where the middle fold was leaving a impression & hump. I didn't add my bedding or sleep on it for more than the recommended 72 (I slept on the old mattress in my living room), I was thinking it's going to continue to decompress. All but one corner has completely filled out. I've tried smoothing out the layers but that's not working. Don't get me wrong it was a good bargain, the comfort level medium firm is great. Here we are Christmas Day and as you can see the hump is still there.

Quick shipping. Easy packaging and this bed is very comfy for the price. It’s not as “pillow top-y” as I would have liked (bc I like the plush look and it kinda comes off boxy with the sheets on) but the sleep and comfort level is A+. So far so good.

If you’re in the market for a no frills, affordable, firm mattress this may be a good fit for you. The 8” is a good option for anyone who does not want to “climb up into bed”. You’ll be closer to the floor making it easier to get in/out. I can’t comment on the Cool Touch feature as the model was too firm for my preference so, I added a mattress topper.

Easy to open up, expanded in 2 days and was the best sleep I’ve had in a while. I’m very picky about mattresses and this one was a perfect in between of soft and firm

This is my first mattress-in-a-box purchase and I intentionally started on the less-expensive end. This Zinus mattress has decent reviews and I have given it 3 stars overall. It's not horrible, but after one week of allowing it to decompress, it retained a defined fold (per the photos) across the bed. As other reviewers have mentioned, I find that there is a "sink" in the middle when I'm lying on the bed, and the best firmness is on one edge of the bed or the other. I wanted to return it or replace it, which isn't an option unless I can get the mattress into another box (not gonna happen), and Amazon was able to give me a 50% refund while keeping it. Although it's not the level of consistency across the mattress that I would like, I may keep it for another year before trying a better quality mattress. The photos show the fold as well as one side that didn't fully decompress. These photos are taken three weeks after taking out of the box--I left it for one week to decompress, then I slept on it for two weeks, so this is probably the way it will stay.

Got this mattress for my guest bedroom to go with a bed frame I also purchased on Amazon, this mattress is firm and nice no back pains from my guest so far so thumbs up. It was nicely folded and once the wrapped was removed... There u hve it.. it unfolds so beautiful I just stood there with a smile 😊 on my face... Good buy!!

This is my 4th Zinus mattress purchase in a few years. I absolutely love the first 3. They are all being used still. Comfortable, supportive and a really good mattress for a decent cost. And the best is they come in a nice tall box, roll out and are ready for use in 3 days. Simple and easy…Then this one came- eehhhhCame in a smaller box so it is folding in half and then rolled up. There is an indentation at the fold still there after almost 2 weeks. Not a fan. Not as comfortable. Still sleeping on the old Sealy (on the floor) since this isn’t as comfortable. Does not compare to other Zinus mattresses. It’s supportive but not really comfortable.

As others have stated in other reviews the bed doesn't expand full to 12 inches(10-11). I bought it knowing that and was ok with that. The bed has an issue basically along the line where it's was folded in half and vacuum sealed. It is not visually noticeable when looking at the bed, however when you lay in it the is a bit of a sink hole almost dead center and makes for a uncomfortable sleep. If you lay along the edge of the bed, head or foot it is quite comfortable and no issue. I bought the hybrid bed because this issue I'm describing or atleast I thought was confined to an all memory foam...boy was I wrong! Additionally, I have a brand new mattress topper to compliment the bed and I can still feel it so it would be even worse if I removed it. I am very disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend it until they can come up with a fix if that's even possible.
