To the people that have problems with the replacement disks sticking I think the problem is with the solvent you are using to clean the mounting surface and not with the disks themselves. Do not use any petrolium based cleaners [mineral spirits] that will leave a greasy resido and you will have problems with adhesion. I used rubing alcohol. denatured alcohol or acetone would probably work well too. After removing the old disk and cleaning the mounting surface with rubbing alcohol the replacement disk stuck with no problems. I will buy this product again, it works just fine.

The first disc I attached to my sander, flew off the next day while I was using and it almost hit me in the face. Had to use adhesive to stick the next one on to make sure it would stay

Let’s be real: when you’re shaping or finishing a board, consistency is everything. These PSA-backed discs (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) slap down securely onto your 8” disc sander—no lift, no slippage, and they hold strong right through the job. And the 120 grit? That’s your sweet spot for rough smoothing of fiberglass, epoxy coatings, foam, or filler—aggressive enough to level, but fine enough to avoid deep gouges before finer grit.

I found this product economically priced and effective. I suspect the adhesion issues some users have complained about are because they did not clean the platen with of old adhesive using solvent and steel wool.

These disks fit and have good adhesion with my sander and work well, they are very durable, and a good value for the money. Abrasion resistance seems good and they have good longevity.

I've had some disks in the past that refused to wear out. These are good, especially for the price, but there are superior options. I just need to find them. Can't go wrong for the price of these in my opinion.

These are just great. Good thickness and the backing paper is thin enough to be folded and flattened easily during installation. Adhesive is just right if you misplace the paper and need to re-align. A nice selection of grades as well. Your only nightmare is trying to remove the glue from the previous paper. Acetone and hard labour are the answer, but it’s worth it to start with a clean and flat surface. Happy sanding!
