PARTY HIGHLIGHT
I love the different sounds that each button makes. The console is especially neat, because it identifies who answered first. My dinner party included game night, and 5 contestants were chosen. I mounted 5 buttons and the control console on a 12 foot strip of wood using Velcro to make removal easy if batteries had to be replaced.Circle holes were drilled into the wood to hide the cords under the strip of wood. Wooden pegs were glued to the bottom of the board strip to lift it, so the board would not rest on top of the cords.Placing the board on a strip ahead of time did not require any setup after we enjoyed the meal. Because of my design, I had to purchase longer cords because of the distance needed between the buttons and the control console. Wal-Mart had 6 foot cords in abundance, so this was not an issue.Teacher's Choice should supply longer cords. The 3 foot cords were much too short in my case, which may be sufficient if players are sitting in a circle. The player buttons supplied by Teacher's Choice were the highlight of the party!!

A very poorly-made product. . .
I am a high school teacher and we sometimes play review games in class; however, it's difficult to keep track of who responds first. I thought that these buzzers, which have a digital display that shows the number of the first buzzer to respond, would be the perfect solution. Unfortunately, one of the ports in the control box was broken when I took it out of the box, so of the 8 buzzers I now only had 7. I thought, "Well, I need them tomorrow, so I can live with seven." But the next day when I actually attempted to use the buzzers, another port broke and two buzzers wouldn't send signal to the control box. Anyway, by the end I only have 5 functioning buzzers. I still use them, but we frequently have to adjust the cords and connections to make sure they send signals to the control box. I suspect I won't have them much longer. Anyway, as a school teacher and having purchased them myself I'm VERY disappointed in the product, especially since they’re rather expensive.

LOVE these with ONE exception!
I'm a high school teacher, but students STILL love using noise-making devices. So when it comes to review days and I want to change things up, these buzzers are a great tool for doing a quick quiz show, Jeopardy-like activity. In this 8-pack, every buzzer has its own unique sound (some noises were more favorites than others for the students). With large class sizes and classrooms here in California, the included 3.5mm cables aren't long enough to reach the various places in my classroom, so I did order separately some 25-foot cables which worked perfectly. My ONLY complaint with these is that the battery compartment covers require a miniature Philips' head screwdriver to open and lock. Because I don't use these too regularly, I don't want to risk batteries leaking from lack of use. But having to break out the screwdriver everytime to open NINE battery covers (8 buzzers and the control panel) is a real hassle. If the battery covers were the usual tab lock-style, these would easily be 5 stars.

Decent, with issues
Really like the multiple buzzing noises! Connections to the base unit, and pieces within the base unit, are unreliable and have broken quite easily. I really wanted to be able to use the numbers for my trivia game. It was fine at first, and I put everything back in the box for storage until next game night. Only 4 of the inputs work now. Pieces came loose inside it, and the jack ports don't always connect either. Will continue to use the buzzers, just without the base unit.

Bought this set for home games of Jeopardy!
This set works well at what it's supposed to do -- provide a way to determine who "buzzed in" first with an answer. Each one has its own sound, and prevents other players from buzzing in for ten seconds. This is a great investment if you're hosting a work event that involves a guessing game (e.g., like Family Feud or Jeopardy), or if you just happen to have a group of competitive friends or family members. And of course, it can be used in a classroom, though this would be a lot of money for a teacher to spend out of pocket. Note that each one of the buzzers requires batteries as does the main console. Due to social distancing requirements, I also purchased six 10-foot cords so players can sit at least 10 feet from each other.

Fun
Was originally sent a set of buzzers that did not light up or come with pre-labels like the box said. The lights was the main reason why I purchased these. Vendor was quick to respond and super friendly. They sent me a new and correct set in two days, free of charge. It was still missing the labels but that is no big deal. These are a great addition to family game nights. Each buzzer and console requires 2 triple A batteries. When put away, the buzzers are sensitive and will go off.

fun, but not worth the money
this was so fun when it worked well, but one of them broke after the first use. Also, each buzzer took 2 batteries as well as the main hub. 18 batteries is a lot of batteries.... Also, there needs to be an option to buzz in without the annoying sounds!!

Not Durable, Came Broken
I was excited to use these to host a trivia game at my house. Unfortunately while setting it up i discovered 2 of the aux cords didn’t even work. What’s more is that 2 of the aux ports on the middle console the buttons connect to weren't even there, they were rattling around inside the console. I was very disappointed in the product and the fact i didn't listen to the negative reviews.
