Will this hold an eg18x ?

Probably. I carry an M18 smoke in mine. I have not physically held the EG18X but the pictures look like it's similar in size to the M18.

Will this pouch hold a 3" diameter cylinder?

OC vapors fit bit tri chambers don’t.

Would this fit the wp40 some grenade?

Fits and works great

Fits the blast grenade perfect, and does not open or fall out while running. Way better then the first one I had. Great buy.

What was expected.

Just what is says it is. Will not accommodate a 3 stage canister. Hold the standard size perfectly. It also has an elastic safety strap for the spoon.

Just a little bit longer and wider.....

I'm a Correctional Officer and use it to hold the DefTech OC dispersion grenade we use in the housing units. My only complaint is the length of the top strap, needs to be longer, it works but I'd feel better if it were just a bit longer as the necks on these grenades are longer than the ones used on the yard (blast grenades) which are wider and barley fit the girth of the holder. Just a little bit longer and wider......:)

Good grenade pouch

Works for the CDCR OC blast and CS jetlites pretty well. Retention is not too bad either just wish it had a snap button instead of velcro.
