I bought them to use in church, which has cold floors during cold weather, and even with two pairs of socks -- one thin cotton, one warm wool -- they burned my toes. Guess they're meant for colder surroundings!

Just stick it to the bottom of your toes, outside of your sock and it heats up right away. I wore them with my boots and they stayed warm for more than 5 hours. It’s not uncomfortable when you wear them, but you can obviously feel that they’re there. Highly recommend for days where you want extra warmth.

Just received product this afternoon. Received all 5. But, the expiration date is 12/23 on all 5. Disappointing.

I had a good chance to use these on the deer stand, which is when my toes tend to get cold, even if the rest of me is fine. They definitely work and are not so thick as to be uncomfortable when you are walking. The adhesive holds them in place but if you peal them off to re-position, they will not stick again. This is not surprising and I was impressed with how well they stayed in place. The only reason that I gave them 4 rather than 5 stars is that I found that they tended to peter out after about 3 - 4 hours. However, if I took them out and worked the contents of the package around, they would heat right back up and be good for another 2 or so hours. You have to be careful not to remove them from your sock while doing this since they would not re-stick. They have a lot of positives and I will likely get more for next year, since they really increase the comfort level.
