MasterClass Casserole Dish with Lid, Large 5L/28 cm, Lightweight Cast Aluminium, Induction Hob and Oven Safe, Grey Ombre

This is a very big pot whis is exactly why I bought it. It can easily fit a whole chicken or make great stews. The pot itself is easy to clean with its non-stick stone coating inside and it is so light weight that it is really easy to carry or handle, even when there is food inside. I was concerned about the colour of the pot that it could easily scratch or fade, but I have been using it for 4-5months now where it has seen a fair bit of use since it is one of only 2 pots that I own and the colour is still perfect. It is also great that if I want to I can cook parts on the stove and transfer the whole pot to the oven to finish a dish if required which is very convenient. The only downside to that is to remember that all parts of the pot get hot so you need to handle it with a cloth or something for the heat which I learned the hard way (my brain is so used to grabbing the pot handle when I am stirring it that I often don't stop to think that it is metal so will also be hot... but I do now!) I would definitely recommend this pot/ casserole dish.

Used it lots of times now and I'm very impressed so decided to leave a review.Perfect for use on the hob to sauté before transferring to the oven, completely non stick.Although if you use on the hob I'd recommend buying the silicon handle accessories as it heats up very quickly.Lightweight and very easy to clean unlike more expensive cast Iron Casseroles.Gets 5 stars from me, highly recommend.

Lovely colour, good price, things cook as well as my cast iron ones, very lightweight but still substantial, holds plenty and washes SO easily. I may buy another one.

Brilliant and easy to clean, only complaint is the knob on top of the lid is metal so gets hot, why an alternative hasn't been used is the reason this gets 4 stars otherwise really good.

This is brilliant. Seems just as tough as cast iron only lighter.Great for my french onion soup and vegetable curry.......so far!

Wanted a nice big casserole pot for a while now and whilst I fancied one with a glass lid, they often won't go above 180 degrees C and I was worried that they might crack or something from the heat. I made a slow cooked stifado the other day in this and it came out amazing. I was really pleased with how easy it was to clean, no effort at all and no staining at all from the rich tomato sauce, just a quick dunk in soapy water and it was clean instantly. I'm very happy with this, I'm sure it will last a long time. I'm looking forward to using it for pot roasts and a makeshift tagine etc.

Love this, washes beautifully and it’s big and perfect for a family sized meal.

A fantastic pot, it's really big, but exceptionally light and easy to clean.

Such a great pan, really big and spacious , perfect for stews or casseroles ! Not heavy at all :)
