Nothing says “I’m terribly refined” quite like unwrapping a paper-thin mint chocolate at 8:01 PM—because heaven forbid one indulges before the appointed hour. What are we, animals?The chocolate is dark and broody, like a misunderstood poet. The mint is crisp and cool, like the butler’s disapproval. Together, they form a duo so utterly decadent it practically requires a tuxedo and a monocle just to consume.Perfect for impressing guests, bribing one’s own better judgment, or pretending you live in a manor house when you’re really just hiding in the pantry with the dog. I’ve bought them several times, and every time I tell myself, “I shall just have the one.” And then the box disappears. Mysteriously. Into my face.If you’re looking for a chocolate that whispers “tasteful indulgence” while screaming “you’re not sharing,” look no further. Absolutely divine.

Love these! Hard to find in stores. Glad Amazon carries them.

These are just wonderful!. The box was wrapped on the outside so you knew nobody had been in them already.They were securely packaged and wrapped snug in the box so they would not be jostled around during shippingI used to buy these at a grocery store can’t find them anymore. I will definitely be re-ordering!

I really don’t want to give this purchase any stars, but the Amazon system won’t allow me to submit the review without doing so.There was nothing to like about this particular box of after 8 mints. The photos tells all. This is exactly how these chocolates arrived. The outer box (packaging) was dented, and on opening the box, it took some work to peel off the green cover from the top of this box of chocolates. What I found inside was an inedible mess. Additionally, papers are stuck to some of the chocolate, and the chocolate itself is mottled white. They are either old or melted or both.Also as other reviewer had mentioned, the advertisement shows a photo of 2 boxes of chocolates, not one. You only get one box. I wouldn’t have minded just the one if the one box would have been decent.I realize that the chocolates were exported all the way from the UK, but that doesn’t excuse the mess that arrived. Lesson learned won’t purchase these online again.I have thrown the whole mess away.

These after eight mints are very, very delicious. They melt in your mouth. They’ve always been my favorite. I finally found them again. Will definitely buy them again and again and again. Worth Buying! Very favorable.

These arrived intact, fresh, and scrumptious. Technically, purchased em for my mom as a gift... but I ended up eating about half. If you want a super, super strong mint flavor, perhaps go elsewhere.If you're worried about a stomped-on / damaged box (which I noted in a few reviews) try having it delivered to a local pick-up spot instead of relying on the little package surviving the gauntlet of neighborhood delivery. I happen to have a Staples nearby, which has an Amazon booth.These didn't blow my mind or anything, but they met expectations.

We love the chocolate to mint ratio much better than other items. I hear they might be discontinued though and that's a bummer

These After Eight dark chocolate mints is almost exactly how I remembered eating more than 41 years ago in Hong Kong. I had tried this as I was curious and saw a box of these at my parent's living room. They hosted parties with their co-workers and friends the night before. I tried a few pieces of the After Eight mints.Now in 2023, they taste exactly like from what I remembered. But the dark chocolate isn't exactly the same as before. Nevertheless, I would buy it again as it is nostalgic piece and probably better than the York peppermint pattie in the States. The serving size is just perfect. I would eat 2 pieces occasionally.
