Work well if you use them correctly.
So I was a little conflicted based on the reviews but ended up ordering these and they work really well for my use case! There's a few caveats though I think trip a lot of people up judging based on the other reviews.First, these require a certain amount of output power from whatever they are connected to in order to work and they are not amplified internally (not getting into technical details here just at a high level). Some devices I have can drive them adequately including my cellphone but others can't including an old MP3 player I happened to try. On the devices that do work I find I have to turn the volume up higher than usual to get clear audio.Second, you need to place them in a certain location on the side of your head to really get the full effect. If they are slightly off they will work but the sound will be very muffled or low volume. If they are way off they don't work at all for me. Luckily the headband places them in about the perfect place on my head but sometimes when I wear a hat over them I need to move them around a bit to get them to sit correctly.Third, even when they work perfectly they are not going to sound great. The point of these is that they are wired, so you're not dependent on bluetooth working correctly in your environment, and they don't need their own power, so you don't have to charge them. If these are not things you want they you'd likely be much better off with a pair of bluetooth bone conduction headphones. Personally these work really well for my use case and I'm going to buy another pair to keep as a spare in case the first ever breaks.I never use the microphone on them so I can't comment on how well that works.

Sound diminishes after a bit of use.
A couple things about these.First, the audio sounds good for about half hour, then it gradually diminishes, until you cannot hear anything. There is a point, where increasing the volume, to try and hear, it will eventually come back in briefly but it blares and has a squelching sound.MY other issue, is that there is no resizing options.Due to that, they pressed uncomfortably ( and too tightly in the rwong places on my head, causing pain after awhile.I gave these a good weeks to try and see if I coudl get used to them, or get them to maintain a steady volume, but without luck.I am dissapointed.

Slightly hearing impaired, this helped me
So I have a condition where I cant hear out of my left ear. having tried the meta quest 2 I was able to "feel" or Kinda hear something. The speakers on the quest 2 were at my temples and got me thinking about bone conduction, so I bought these as they were in-expensive and would benefit the experiment. Sure enough they came packed nicely. What was great is it worked with bone conduction I was able to hear on the left side again. I have them on right now with my computer instead of speakers. I also plan to order a personal listening device to hook them to that I hope helps me hear people talking to me too. and they work great on phones as well. The mic quality is decent. It would be cool if it had an in line volume control or amp, cause sometimes the audio is low. But they package it with memory foam plugs that help but then who wants to wear ear plugs all the time as it feels weird. for my computer I ended up buying boom3d that enhanced the audio where I didnt need ear plugs. I streamed the unboxing and first time testing on my twitch stream and they worked so well helping me hear on my left side I broke out in tears. I am happy with them and the price is awesome!

Works as described
Bone conduction, a good alternative to traditional earphones, works well, with microphone for making calls, on/off switch only, not volume control

Good, but quiet
Overall, these are pretty decent headphones. I'm using them with a small pocket radio and foam ear plugs. I need to wear hearing protection at work and these work quite nicely when I'm wearing my PPE; they actually sound better with ear plugs in than without. As other people have pointed out, they are fairly quiet and don't have the best sound quality, but they're also passively driven (non-amplified) and relatively inexpensive. The build quality is pretty good too, I don't feel like they're going to break if I sneeze too hard like many other products I've encountered.Edit: about a month later the wires have started to fail at the 3.5 jack. Dunno if it's poorly made or if I'm just that hard on em.

Didn't work for me
I sarcastically gave a 5 star review for noise cancellation. That is because the headphones cancelled ALL noise, including what you want to hear. No instructions came with the headphones. Could hear nothing at low volume and could barely hear anything at full volume. Moving the headphones around to different bone areas helped, but the best I could hear was a super low volume in my ear with the device cranked up to full volume, you really had to strain to hear anything at all. I bought this cheap pair to see if it would help my hard of hearing father (he heard absolutely nothing) and my hearing is fine and I could barely make any sounds out. Tried attaching to different devices like my iPhone, HP laptop and even my TV and the results never changed. Definitely not worth it, but the investment was relatively small. I consider it a failed experiment in trying to help my father hear while he is attempting video calls.

So quiet
Bought 2 of these for watching TV through my Roku remote. 1st pair isn't to bad but quiet. 2nd pair is so quiet with volume completely cranked I can barely hear. And strap isn't at all adjustable.

Nice!
Purchased to use with my cobra vhf 350. Had to put a 3/16 rivet washer over connection at the handheld cobra mic to get both sides to work and it’s working great! Probably works fine on most applications without washer. Very comfortable to wear and amazingly clear!
