The difference between the 2 noodles with same name is reflected in the packaging: older version has wider, tastier noodles packaged (as you advertised) lying flat in the bowl. What you sent is the "waterfall" version where thin tasteless noodles fall down into the bowl. Care was taken to buy the wider noodles and avoid the waterfall noodles. Please pay attention that the picture on the order and the packaging on the product match before you ship. This is not interchangeable packaging but a whole different product. This is a total waste of my money since the product is not returnable/refundable.

I've bought the beef flavor before and it is delicious. Decided to try the chicken flavor and was shocked when I added the flavoring to the noodles after heating; the smell was so terrible I wasn't open to even tasting it and threw the entire mix into the garbage. The safe date was still good for several months, so no idea of why it smelled so gross. Was a sale of 6 and the rest are going in the garbage without even opening them. I did contact the seller but have not received a reply. Amazon refunded the cost ....

It was NOT the premium version of chow mein, just the regular. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!! It was teriyaki chicken flavor at least.
