Review: I'm not sure why this is even allowed for sale on desertcart... - I support Watchguards and have purchased approximated 30 of them. The x10 has been EOL for about 5 years now. It will not get updates and is not supported by Watchguard. This device is essentially a $50 paperweight.

I support Watchguards and have purchased approximated 30 of them. The x10 has been EOL for about 5 years now. It will not get updates and is not supported by Watchguard. This device is essentially a $50 paperweight.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product - - Not Cheap When New, But A Bargain When Used and Guaranteed

My company has deployed WatchGuard products, including the little "Edge" and older "SoHo" products, since 2001. Several of the units we purchased then are still in service, including the larger "Firebox II" and "Core" appliances. We are a federally-regulated business, meaning that we undergo various security examinations, penetration tests, etc., several times a year. We have never been cited for anything related to a WatchGuard product. I may sound like an advertisement for WatchGuard, and I suppose I could be - - we've used many of their products, especially the SSL Mobile VPN and hardware-based Branch Office VPN. Amazing stuff, though expensive. But when you can buy WG stuff that is in good shape, used, for a low price, it is superior. Especially the VPN. I have the X10E in my home office, and we have several at our branches. We maintain support agreements, and we have always gotten the service and consulting that we needed - - though, as another poster indicated, it is not as rapid as one might hope. WG tries to be "Enterprise Grade," and compares very well to Cisco in our experience.
