My absolute favorite green tea

After learning about the microplastics in tea bags I wanted to switch to a loose leaf tea. This tastes great. I let it steep for 3 minutes.

If you've tried to brew your own green tea, you know that it can be unforgiving. Seems it needs no more than 175 degree water and a 3 to 4 minute brew time to avoid bitterness. Then there's the anxiety of where to purchase it from. Most seems to be sourced from China and I've read countless hair raising reports about the lack of quality controls and lax standards of all types of products, from kid's toys sprayed with lead based paint, to things labeled organic that is irrigated with sewage water! Sorry for that mental image, but based on Amazon's recommendation and so many positive reviews I decided to give this tea a try. It's grown at high elevations at plantations in Darjeeling, India. Immediately on opening the sealed package I was impressed by the consistency and beauty of the leaves. I purchased a Breville tea maker some time back that simplifies the brewing and times it perfectly. Using the Breville, I use 2 heaping teaspoons of tea in the basket with one liter of filtered water for 4 minutes. The resulting tea is absolutely delicious. Very light with no tannin or bitter taste. I bought a klean kanteen one liter thermos bottle that by the way keeps liquids incredibly insulated, and I fill it with my fresh brew to take to work and sip all morning. This brand is marketed as having rigorous controls and purity standards and, of course, we can only hope they are accurate and true. But I can verify that this has become my defect brand. I'd determined that i wanted to increase my green tea intake mostly for the health benefits and EGCG content. But with tea this delicious, I look forward to my daily liter intake of tea. My mouth feels clean and sanitized after drinking it. Cannot recommend that you try this enough if you are a green tea lover for taste or health reasons.

The taste is horrible. I bought this because of the good reviews, why it got good reviews is beyond me. I tried everything to make it taste better, nothing worked, I could not stomach the taste. I gave it to a friend, tea lover, she could not drink it either. Maybe a bad batch? And this product is not eligible for a refund. I would not recommend this. Update: the seller responded and gave me a full refund

Real green tea.

I have bought this about a dozen times so far and have it on Subscribe and Save. We use this to make hot tea in cold weather and iced tea in warm weather. We brew in a cast iron tea pot. We add nothing to it except for fresh squeezed lemon. It is delicious! Also, this company is a Certified B Corporation. Excellent!

I've been buying this tea for awhile now. Over three years. I know what green tea looks like. This batch has Cleary seen black tea leaves in it. That's to me because some companies will add the least selling tea to the most selling tea bags to reduce the products expire age. Or to move the product that sits the longes. I'm not saying this company is doing this but. It Aint Right I Tell YA!

Der Tee hat einen sehr milden und angenehmen Geschmack. Er ist weich und lässt sich sehr gut trinken. Mir hat er wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Ich würde ihn auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen. ☕😊

Je ne boit plus que Ca ! En thé vert et thé noir , c’est un super produit . Je l’achète depuis plus 1 an et la qualité est là . Un sac hermétique est fournis avec , c’est top . Petit bémol : il n’y a pas de thé parfumé. Je recommande
