Worked for my 2015 Forester XT.Can be easily changed by lifting the 2 closing clips on the top of the air filter housing.- Slide the old filter out-Make note of the direction it is facing-Slide the new one into its place.See my photo for location

Replaced my old filter and this one is just as good and fits well. I am pleased with the quality and performance of this product.

5-10 minute install. Don't pay for this to be changed
Two clips and make this super easy. I change mine 3x per year due to off roading and sometimes dusty conditions. Mine is often mostly clogged with insects.Kudos to Subaru for making this a tool-free change. If you want things to be less "crowded" during install you can take off a single 10mm bolt that is super easy to get to with a socket extension.

OEM quality
Fit my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek (Amazon said it didn't). Appears to be genuine Subaru (and not counterfeit). Box and part both say Made in USA.
