Bought this because it has the Roger Rabbit look, and I have a S&W Governor that also resembles the cartoonish gun used in the film. Great gun, great case, and all you need is that red lavender or red silk bedding to make it 100% cartoonish. I do agree on the latch not being the best, but I think this case is designed to sit horizontally, unloaded, and on display.

I bought the "Old World Wooden Treasure Box" to solve a problem and it works like a charm! I have to use three different remotes for my TV. They look tacky lying all over the couch. They also slide easily under the couch cushions.The wooden treasure box is the perfect size to house all my remotes in one place and look nice doing it. The box is well made. It's a nice warm brown. It has a felt-like lining on the inside and on the bottom, which is helpful. The latch and the hinges are firmly attached to the box.I only had one complaint. There is a very small nick on the front. It appeared that the nick had to be there before the box was packaged in China. The nick is small, but shows up because it's a lighter color than the rest of the box.If I'd bought the box in a store, I'd have asked for one without nicks. If this nick were bigger, I'd have returned the box. But the thought of repackaging and returning this box and then hoping the new one didn't have some other problem discouraged me from the hassle of exchanging it.Upon reading some of the other reviews, I have one other complaint. Another reviewer said she paid $25 for this box on the 4th of December. I bought it December 10. I paid $31.95 which was listed as a discount from the "regular" price of "34.95." I do not appreciate this kind of price manipulation.

This is a great box and a perfect size for me.It holds all of my very different remote contols (and is far less expensive than buying a universal remote that may or may not accommodate all of these varied remotes):First Row (bottom of photo): Fan, Apple TVSecond Row: TVThird Row (top of photo): Soundbar, Nearby Lamp, Microfiber Cloths, PS5 ControllerIt has a soft velvety-lined intererior and will stay open at a 90 degree angle (see 3rd photo). I also like the simple clasp, which I usually leave unlatched.Very happy!

This box is beautiful. I really like the latch on the box. It looks very professional and nice. The box is lined with something that feels like felt. It did have a very strong smell, i gave as a gift and had to air out before giving. Very spacious. Would recommend it.
