Review: Not as bright or soft as expected - Picked up these Sylvania ECO LED bulbs expecting the soft warm glow you’d want for a living room or bedroom, but they fall short on both fronts. The light is not really soft — it has a slightly harsh quality to it that doesn’t feel as warm or cozy as other soft white bulbs I’ve used. Brightness is also underwhelming for a 100W equivalent. In a medium-size room with two of these in a ceiling fixture, it still feels dim. I ended up moving them to closets and the garage where output isn’t as critical. On the plus side, they were cheap, the pack of 6 is good value, and they fire up instantly with no warm-up time. Energy efficient as advertised and should last a long time based on the rating. If you need bulbs for low-traffic areas where lighting quality doesn’t matter much, these are fine. For main living spaces, I’d spend a little more on a better brand.

**Q: Why cant these be shipped to California? The only restriction I am aware of is glass LED and they are plastic.**
A: Living in California I had the same question, after putting it into my cart.  After doing some research, I conclude that this product was not Title 20 certified.  So I went to my local hardware and bought some Title 20 certified LED soft white bulbs for about $3 each in a 4-pack.  The bulbs are rated 15 watts, 1600 lumens, and 5 year warranty.  I put them in and they work fine.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Can these be used in enclosed fixtures**
A: The 100W box clearly states these are NOT to be used in totally enclosed luminaries. So that would indicate you cannot use them in enclosed fixtures despite any claims made by others.

**Q: HI ... You need to state in this ad whether or not these bulbs are "flood or spot" and whether or not they can be used outdoor? Thx.**
A: In the very first image that has the packaging, it shows it's a 90 degree Wide Flood and that it's an Indoor/Outdoor bulb.  Sometimes you are limited to what you can put on the site so you take care of it on the packaging.   I hope that helps you.

**Q: Why am I unable to send light bulbs to an address in Los banos ca**
A: California is very strict with their ecology issues... they do not allow many things that other states do.
