**Q: is this made in england**
A: Yes Spode is made in England this Pattern Blue Italian was launched in 1816 and secured Spode as the premier ceramics producer.  Blue Italian is still made today and widely collected.  You will not be disappointed with this piece the weight and quality of its evident as soon as you pull it out of the box.  This is the perfect size to use for a small casserole, or as a serving dish.   You will not be disappointed.

**Q: Is this item made in England or China**
A: This one doesn't say England or China, but the similar square baker I bought from Amazon at the same time is marked 'England'.  This rectangular baker just says, "Spode Italian Spode Design c.1816 Dishwasher,freezer,microwave,oven proof"  My guess is that it's made in England.

**Q: Does someone know how many ounces this holds?**
A: In exact ounces I don’t know, it’s large enough for serving a family at a Thanksgiving dinner. It is deep. It’s about 6 inches wide and 10 inches long. Much larger than I expected. I love it.

**Q: This says serving dish. Some comments say they baked with it. Has anyone baked with this dish and if so at what temperature?**
A: Spode says up to 425°. Can also freeze and microwave.
