I was looking for something compact and not heavy to do small presentations for my company. Setting up the older screen I had was just getting to be to big and bulky and really heavy to be moving around since i travel for these presentations. This item didn’t disappoint. It is totally compact, sets up in 2 minutes, folds up just as quick and is perfect for my needs. I may just get another for backup. Glad I purchased it.

I received the screen today from UPS. I was a little apprehensive because at one end the box flap was open and the end of the screen was exposed. After looking more closely, I noticed that the foam packaging material was not covering the screen and the plastic bag was only partially covering the screen. I also noticed scratch marks on the exposed end. What probably happened is that because the end flaps aren't taped closed, it opened up and the screen slid out and hit the ground. All UPS did was shove it back in the box and didn't even bother to close up the flap. The scrape marks aren't serious enough for me to make an issue over it, but Pyle could prevent this from happening by taping the flaps shut.Nothing mechanically seems to be wrong with the screen. It seems to be well-built and is very compact in design. I did find that on carpet, it tends to fall over. This could be alleviated if they put a "foot" on each end. The screen does not fall over if placed on something firm like a tile floor or table. I plan to use this with a Pico projector and I believe it will be ideal for that function.UPDATE (8-6-16): I had a chance to use my Pico projector on the screen last night. The image was bright and sharp. Because the screen falls forward when used on carpet, I placed a weight on the center foot, which made it stable. One other thing I noticed when looking at the screen in daylight is that they used glossy black paint to hide some scratches on the frame. I'm assuming these scratches occurred during the manufacturing process. However, they need to use a paint that better matches the matte finish of the metal frame. My only other concern is that this is not a brand new screen, that it is a returned item and they used paint to hide some of the blemishes. That would be a bad thing because I expect an item to be a brand new, unused item item unless specifically identified as being different. So, based upon the packaging and blemishes, I would probably rate this as 3.5 stars, not 4. I'm also concerned that this may be a used item being sold as new.

I really loved this screen. Unfortunately I had to return it because it just didn’t work for my application. Too much light in the space so I had to find another solution to my problem.This is nice and sturdy. Easy to open and close, and very portable. I wish it would have worked out for me.

I purchased this with a projector to let my son watch movies out side. I wanted a screen that was easy to use and wouldn't require a lot to setup. This screen is perfect. I place it on the table and pull it up. It stays up really well. The only issue is when its really windy i do have to place something in front and behind the screen to keep it from falling over because it is so light weight. It folds down into its own case and is easy to take with me where i go.

Use it all the time

I bought this screen to use with my projector for work presentations. I travel around to different locations giving presentations to small groups for a living. It fits in the trunk of my car, is very fast and easy to set up, and overall is working well. The only issue I have with it is that it is a little unstable, even on a flat surface. So far I have been able to make it work, but I would like if the "locking foot" in the center were a little longer or perhaps there were two (one to stabilize from the front and one from the back) to make it less wobbly.

Broken projector screen: missing pieces and won’t even open. Totally unusable

For the money this is not a bad screen. I won't give it 5 stars because I don't like how the company designed it. As it is the openings on the top to hang the screen to a bracket are not in the center of the screen. They are on the far outside. So when you mount it to let's say a ring, when you pull it down, the screen will not stay straight. I didn't design it so I don't know if there is a reason for this. But it does not make sense to me. I ended up putting a hook down at the bottom to make the screen hang straight when it is open. Please see the attached pictures so you know what I am talking about. So far great quality just not so great design.The first picture shows how it should hang. The second shows how it naturally hangs on an angle. The third shows it pulled out. the bottom is out at least couple inches further from the wall than the top. The last picture shows my home remedy to fix this. Hope this helps!
