Detoxes Body/Relieves Joint & Muscle Pain
Dead Sea salt is amazing and this product is awesome! It's full of nutrients and 21 benefical minerals that heal and detox your body, while relieving joint and muscle pain, achiness, soreness and tension. It softens, hydrates and cleanses your skin, opens up your pores and increases circulation. It truly makes a difference in your body and health condition, particularly if you suffer from mental, emotional and/or physical pain and distress. This Dead Sea Salt is perfect for bath soak blends and body scrubs, with other beneficial salts (I use Pink Himalayan Salts, Epsom Salt & Magnesium flakes) and essential oils (there are many that are analgesic and stress relieving, like lavender, rosalina, eucalyptus, etc.). I've made various detox/arthritis/pain relief bath soaks and moisturizing citrus body scrubs (that get rid of dead skin cells to allow for cell turnover!).Dead Sea Salt has almost magical healing powers. Epsom salts are so well known by everyone, and these Dead Sea Salts deserve just as much recognition! This is an excellent health product and I'm about to order another bag of this salty goodness!

You can clean rugs with this stuff
I bought this dead sea salt after watching a guy on YouTube that mentioned using dead sea salt to clean rugs in his carpet cleaning business. In the video he was using it for Oriental rugs because you don't want to use chemicals on those rugs and you don't want to scrub them because it can dull and potentially ruin the coloring of the rug. My rug is not Oriental and is nothing special but the white flower on it gets dirty with having 5 people (3 of which are children) living in the house and running around with shoes on sometimes. I have a HooverSmartWash+ Automatic Carpet Cleaner which has a cleaning solution tank and a tank you just put water in. So I filled the water tank with just water and with the solution tank I ONLY added water and this salt to it. I used like warm water in the solution tank and in the clean water tanks and I filled the solution tank to the fill line. For the salt I just guessed at how much to use. I used 6 tsp of salt and shook it up a little in the solution tank and attached it back on the machine. Since the salt has very fine flakes, they dissolve nicely. Anyone who lives in colder states knows the fear of salt on a rug or carpet because in the winter you risk getting salt in your home on the floor or on the floor of your car and when it dried it leaves white salt rings. This stuff does not do that. It was a fear I initially had when trying this but I realized that guy in the video doesn't want to ruin those Oriental rugs he cleans so maybe it doesn't occur when using this stuff. On a website called arearugexpert.com they specifically show this dead sea salt brand as the product they use on their rugs as well. So maybe give it a try if you have a rug that you want cleaned. I could tell it made a difference as I was cleaning it but the next day after it dried completely, I noticed it definitely made a huge difference.

Good Quality Salts. Might Be More Helpful for Skin Conditions Than for Relaxing.
I usually use Epsom salts in my bath, as I find them a bit energizing and good for tired muscles. Dead Sea Salt is something new I decided to try on a lark. I've been pleased with the quality of San Francisco Salt Co.'s Epsoak Epsom salt and its medium-grain texture, so I went with their Minera Dead Sea Salt. These are pure Dead Sea Salts from a source at the Southern part of the Dead Sea. They contain magnesium, potassium, sodium, calcium, bromide, sulfur, in that order, among other minerals. The minerals are supposed to benefit skin and muscles. The instructions say to add a handful to the bath -or a full 2 cups if you are using the salts to treat psoriasis. I added a half cup of salts. I can't say that I noticed any effect. The salts may not have been concentrated enough in my bath. I should probably have used 2 cups even though I'm not treating a skin condition. I hesitated to use more, as Minera is considerably more expensive than Epsoak, even when purchased in large quantity. The grains are 1-2mm in size -too fine for making a scrub. But, if you are going to give these Dead Sea Salts a try, I recommend using a generous quantity.

Outstanding Treatment for skinfold psoriasis
Why didn't someone tell me about this before? I have a compromised immune system, thin skin and severe medication reactions. When I developed skinfold psoriasis, I was sent to a dermatologist. Multiple months of using $100+ tubes of cream to no avail. It seemed the more expensive the cream, the more it burned.I stumbled upon a UK article about natural remedies for skinfold psoriasis where they recommended Dead Sea Salts. It was clear from the article's comments, that quality matters. Minerva is one of the best brands of DSS in the world! When I received the salts, I expected to have to bath with it every day for a few weeks before seeing any result. I just dried off from a 15 minute soak with a handful the DSS. Incredible! The psoriasis patches are flat and dry. The best part is, no burning! This is the first time my skin has been comfortable in months!A big thanks to the reviewers before me. Sharing your success with this product motivated me to try it. I hope I can do the same for others suffering with psoriasis.Peace.
