I purchased two of these the first one lasted around 12-months just under before it stopped working so I purchased another one one-button this was supposed to be a newer and better model I brought this on the 10th of May this year and yesterday this one did exactly the same as the last one you can fill it with gas but when you go to light it no gas comes out I checked to see if it was the igniter by using another flame but no gas but if you give it a tiny little wiggle without using the clicker to ignite and all the gas just come straight outIt's a pity because as a disabled person this made lighting candles my camp lamp all sorts of different things a lot easier because of the length and the flexible end I have always kept them in the box they came in I put them back in the same correct position they came out of the box they didn't get banged about and well looked after carefully so this is definitely a product design issueIt is of my opinion that the fault that lied in both of these lighters was where are the section with the bendy end connect to the actual lighter handleI would be interested to know if anyone else has had the same failure problems

Had to replace an older, similar one as it had given up the ghost with being thrown around and abused.This one is a lot more compact though, certainly easier to use with regard to the ignition mechanism, not as much force needed so no sore thumb trying to get it to light.The wand swivels easily and stays in place so lighting candles at the bottom of jars etc is a breeze. The main thing for me though is how the jet lights the lighter blocks easily in the fire, perfect

This lighter is easy to use, feels solid. The flexible neck holds its position well. The flame is impressive, and lights in all weather conditions, although you often need to turn it up to light it, then adjust the flame to a more manageable size once lit. One note of caution is that at high pressures/flame settings it can take a few seconds for the flame to extinguish as the excess gas in the neck takes a while to exit. But if you keep that in mind it can be used to your advantage.The igniter slider is sufficiently stiff to stop young children being able to ignite it, but not so stiff that it hurts your finger.Refilling is simple and I've had no spillage or leaks.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this for lighting a wood burning stove and wanted a long reach lighter with a jet flame.The jet flame is very good producing a adjustsble hot blue, flame ideal for starting paper or kindling.Well presented and packaged, feels heavy and substantial, however it is 5x the price of the cheap plastic ones and only time will tell how reliable it is, but it appears to be very well made.Would make a good gift as very well presented and packaged.Don't forget to order butane as the unit comes empty.

Was searching for a gas filled storm proof lighter instead of a usb charged 1 and didnt know if i should go extra money for this or not but now i have deff glad i did,you could light a barbecue in a force 9 gale🔥👍

After filling the lighter up after its arrival, I have been very pleased with its performance. I use it in crafts, and it doesn't produce the smoke a yellow flame does, which makes it brilliant for what I want to use it for.10/10, would recommend and buy again.

My wife uses this to light her candles, some of which are in class containers. Really easy to use. The visual gas level monitor is a nice feature. Strongly recommend it.

Wow! Had this delivered today and it’s gorgeous! It works perfectly, really easy to fill and an easily adjustable flame. in fact I might just order a cheaper one and put this one in a display cabinet!
