Mobility Scooter Rain Cover Waterproof Material Protect You and Your Scooter from Rain Snow Sleet and Sun

I am SO GLAD I bought this. The weather for our theme park visit was mostly nice but the last day it rained. It started with a torrential downpour for about 20-30 minutes (just as we were exiting a ride) and then rained steadily off and on for the rest of the day. This poncho was big enough to cover the rider, the seat, the controls, plus the front and back baskets. It kept the rider and scooter dry except for the bottom of her legs. As others have mentioned, there was a little leakage around the velcro opening but a couple drops on her shirt were minimal given the drenching rain that occurred.It did want to slide around/rotate a little but I anticipated that and had a couple of bulky clips (office supplies) with me and I was able to clip it to the front and back baskets which then held it in place.The rented scooter had all these warnings about not getting it wet (as an engineer, this seems like a design flaw to me) so without this cover we would have been dashing for cover and stuck there until the rain ended many hours later - not to mention worrying about damage to the scooter.Other scooter riders were commented that it looked like a great idea as they tried to cover the rider and scooter with two ponchos or plastic bags.Its not perfect but I consider one of the best purchases I made for this trip.

I used this over my scooter all over New York and Epic Universe on very rainy days. Held up well, kept everything dry, was easy to put on. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that it seemed to slip out of place on the control panel area a lot and I had to keep arranging it. Could have been my scooter though. All in all, a great purchase.

So it’s a great idea and I love the clear front on it. However, it does not really keep the person dry. The rain goes in through the Velcro and from the bottom up. I did like that it kept the electronic panel dry, but if you want to remain dry maybe put on a poncho on you first and then this one. Maybe on lighter rain it might do well enough, but I was caught through pretty strong rain and that did not hold as well. But 5 stars anyways because the clear front panel is amazing!

I can easily put it on and when getting off scooter, I flip the back over my head and fold it inside out. It easily fits back into the storage bag.I just did find one issue and only because of a all day steady rain. The Velcro will let water thru. Plan on sewing it up, as it fits easily over my head.I go to Disney World a few times a year and really hope to not use it, but it's worked great when I have had to. I don't leave it on my scooter when it is parked so no one will take it.

1. This helps but definitely needs improvements. 2. It needs to be longer to cover the battery on the scooter and to cover the rider’s legs. 3. It needs to have a visor on the hood for the person riding so they can see to drive the scooter. 4. It needs some way to hold it down on the scooter. A light wind or breeze pulls it off easily. Good for what is available on the market.

Used the rain cover for a rental scooter at Disney. Rained 2 of the 7 days we were there. This kept the batteries and control panel dry. My only suggestion to anyone who purchases this is to make sure the Velcro neck closure is securely closed, otherwise the rain will get everything wet. This was a very wise purchase.

It leaks through the Velcro near the neck and chest area. It’s not heavy enough to keep the scooter covered. Any wind and it blows around and off. Should be heavier material or weights at the bottom. Lastly, it melted in the FL sun and had to be thrown away after one use.
