Great little thin ledger. I dig it.
Ordered this columnar today, and got it today just in town for me to sit down at the computer and pay my bi-weekly bills. For the past few years I have been keeping a written record of my bills. Many things these days are subscription based. Along with those subscriptions and living expenses I found that we had far to many bills for me to keep up with in my head as I had done up until a few years ago. Not big bills, just a lot of small bills. I had been using an A5 journal to jot down all of my bills, but the small A5 page and classic ruled spacing proved not enough space. So I picked up one of these 2 column accounting journal and it seems its going to work out a lot better for me. Perfect spacing of the columns for me to write down who the money is going to, the amount, the balance, and what card or bank account I used to pay that particular bill. Nothing to crazy and crowded. Just enough for me to keep track of everything. The book is made fairly well. The hardbound cover is durable enough for my application. One thing I immediately loved about this book is that when opened, it lays completely flat along with the page. Its a nice looking unassuming thin book that can be left on my desk and not be in the way. The pages are thick enough for the ink not to bleed through. How ever I dont use gel pins and dont know if they will bleed through or not. Ive always hated the way gel pens write and avoid them. Anyway if you need an easy way to keep all of your person expenses in line. This book makes a great way to do so.

A great option to keep your accounts balanced
I'm a bit old school & still track my purchases like an old check book register. I have used this style for years to track my checking account & I layout my monthly bills beginning at the back going forward. The thickness of these books is perfect, not taking up much space & easily keeping it in a convenient place on my desk. A great value for the money, they usually last me through 5 quarters at least & hold up forever if you need to keep your records.

Perfect Account Ledger
I have been using this type of ledger for many years in order to keep a record of my living expenses. I use the first column for a description of the item and the vendor, the second column for the check number, and the third column for the amount of the check. It does take a bit of time to track expenses in this way, but it is worth every minute. When I get a bill for something I think I paid I can look it up quickly and easily. I also use it for income tax purposes by highlighting deductible expenses. Yes, I could do it on the computer, but I still like the old fashioned way. It has worked for me for 47 years, so why change now? This ledger is the exact size and it is the best quality account book I've ever used for the money. Get organized and watch where your money is going, you may be surprised, and this ledger will help you get there.

4 Stars because it came dirty
Serves its purpose. It’s really hard to find a plain and reasonably priced ledger. I want to put my logo on it but it came dirty stuck within the grains so it’s disappointing.

A good product for daily use.
I am a self employed person and have been for decades. I know I could record the same thing with a spreadsheet, but I am old school. In this book I track daily activities, money earned, money spent, even health and weather notes. I have bought them for years. I have a nice stack of them going back to the 1980s. Fun to open them up years later a see what I was doing years ago. Enjoy.

Great Checkbook
Great for keeping my personal finances in order. The first and final pages are fused to the cover and I cannot use the first column on the first page and the last column on the last page. I've noticed this the last 3 times I've purchased.
