Carhartt Men's Washed Duck Sierra Jacket

Carhartt for me is long lasting , good fitting and functional. The coat has 2 interior pockets with one having a diagonal zipper. One zipper chest pocket and 2 hand warmer pockets that are adequately sized. I’m a user of pockets and that feature is a high point. Many other brands don’t size their pockets for utility.The zipper seems adequate but not as robust as the zipper of long ago . This is a winter coat and is adequate for most winter climates. It’s not so bulky that movement is hindered. I shopped for quite awhile before choosing this model. I tried on a few different models at stores and was somewhat disappointed in the material and stitching. This coat is much better in those respects. The hood is a requirement of mine and works and fits well. The coat is a bit longer than the jacket type that a have older model of ( I love that jacket except for the length) I’m 6’3” 240 and bought the xlt ( tall) fit is excellent

I have been looking at getting a durable outerwear jacket for a few years now. After trying on my son's Medium J130 (also from Carhartt) I got to trying on jackets from a few makers, including some pretty good, lower-priced offerings here on Amazon. My son's J130 is more loose-fitting than this relaxed-fit sherpa-lined jacket, but both keep you very warm in cool and cold, as well as windy weather. Neither are waterproof. This Medium-Regular (not Tall) Sherpa-Lined Relaxed fit coat is longer in the back, and fits over the waist on me. I am 5' 10" ~200 pounds with a 35-inch waist, and this fits me much better than the J130. The hood volume, and arm and body length are all perfectly placed on me. Be aware that while the sleeves have storm cuffs, there is no waist cinch or cuff on this coat, so some people might have body heat leaks there. Everything seems very well constructed. The zipper is smooth and easy to engage, dye on the outer fabric is even and saturated, and the sherpa lining is in the hood and body, while quilted polyester is in the sleeves, which makes putting it on easy without grabbing any garments you might have on underneath. The front outer pockets have full flannel lining, and the inner and outer storage pockets are large and zippered. It breathes well, so I don't feel overheated in it. I wore it around the house for a day before deciding that I wanted to keep it, and never got too hot in it. The lower-priced ones I tried from other makers were good, and more than worth their price, but they were not up to the quality of this jacket.

Great winter weather jacket, especially for working or playing, duck lined ,keeps you warm.

While I was surprised to see the last XL available in this awesome green color had to be shipped to Arizona and took a few days to get here, it was worth every minute of that wait. Over the past few years I have looked to Carhartt for tough, durable, practical, and comfortable clothing items that just flat out get the job done. Once again I have had my expectations blown off the shelf. The jacket fits nearly to perfection, and my only complaint would be the style of the sleeves, which is in fact 110% practical for working in the field and staying dry, but I prefer to roll the duck up and have my sleeve cuff visible. Aside from this personal and 100% cosmetic preference, this is the warmest jacket I may have ever owned, sitting right up there with previous North Face and Colombia down jackets I have owned. Currently feels like 30 here in NC and has been in the low 20s all week. I have removed the necessity to double up on a hoodie and jacket combo as now I can literally have a t-shirt on and throw this jacket on to step out for some air and let the dogs out and be TOASTY while doing so! Long rant but seriously 10/10 jacket worth every penny and I would recommend to any and all that are looking for the highest quality North American products that money can buy. This jacket is on that list no doubt about it.

Amazing jacket. Worth the money, very warm and roomy enough to layer under. Soft sherpa lining, hidden hood drawstrings, plenty of pockets, tough as nails. You won't regret it.

It's a great jacket but like others have said the zipper is hard to access. Also, I recommend buying one size smaller. I am 6ft 179lbs and I purchased a large. I should had bought a medium. The large feels like I can wear another jacket under this one.

Super jacket, warm, comfortable and looks great

Capo bellissimo, qualità Carhartt, molto caldo e perfetto come antivento. Tasche comode (il taschino esterno, per chi lavora fuori, è comodissimo per non stare ad aprire sempre la giacca), rifiniture nella media (qualche cucitura un po’ grossolana). Segnalo che la taglia, per via dell’imbottitura, è un po’ meno generosa degli standard Carhartt.

Viene la talla exacta sólo que no la devolví porque me rebajaba los gastos de impuestos de usa a México para estaba defectuoso porque siempre uso talla s y me queda muy bien ocho chamarras carharrt s

Las mangas demasiado largas, se nota que es recio y abriga pero pesa demasiado también. Para el precio que tiene no me convencía. Aún así el vendedor se portó perfect
