i want to know where the headphone made !tx

I’ve ordered replacement parts for my Shure-846 SE earbuds and they came from Niles, IL. I actually think some of the best headphones and other Gear that come from Japan is extremely well made. They are way ahead of the U.S. in terms of 8K resolution and MQA. I have a bunch of Japanese MQA CDs that I buy from a Japanese seller. They have always been ahead of us with technology like Audio/Video and Formats like MQA!

If I'm using my phone as the music player, do I need an amplifier or DAC or both?

I have used it with my LG G3 Cat 6 and LG V20 with Quad-DAC. And it was just good with both of my phones. It has such low impedance and such phones were sufficient to drive the SRH1540. But if you wand just a little more dynamics or slightly more power, then you can add a O2 Amplifier. That would be just perfect!! Even with those LG phones, you can hear the trilling deep base coming from a pipe organ. None of other cans can provide the deep base enough and just to the amount needed as the SRH1540.

How large is the carrying case? Is it too bulky to travel easily?

The carrying case is amazing. Don't expect to carry it comfortably in a backpack however. If you're flying it will fit into a standard size carry-on.
