Sambrani (Loban) Dhoop cups from Herbl strategi are one of the finest Dhoop cups available in the market. If we can get it at s 80/- per box which has 6 pcs, it is the best price.Compared to other brands, and those available in the market, this dhoop cup emits more smoke (which it is supposed to do) and burns for a longer time. The average time is 15-20 mins (approx). General time for other cups is about 10-12 mins. They burn about 5-7 mins more than even the branded ones.The only downside is the packaging and the dhoop stand which is a mere flat metal plate but does the job.The packaging does not affect product's quality and so there are no negative points.Few comments on this and other dhoop brands is that they do not fully burn.*Correct Burning Method*Well, the only way to properly burn any dhoop cup is to hold it i.e. tilt it 80-90 degree and burn the entire outer rim, not just some part of rim. It takes 40-60 seconds to completely burn. After there is continuous flame hold vertical i.e. position in which we place the cup and flow the fire. Let the middle part also burn before blowing off the fire. Then, again blow the air to check if entire rim lights up red. If not burn again. In this way, no cup gets wasted or burns partially, be it a roadside local product. Adding Bhimseni Kapur on top in the middle of cup not touching the rum would emit kapur fragrance.So, it is a job of patience. It need either a candle or burn cup directly on gas flame of cooking stove.*Smoke and Fragrance*Dhoop emits smoke and do not expect smoke to give strong pleasant aroma. Aroma is felt and the good subtle vibes are left after the cup is fully burnt and there is no further smoke.Still if you do not experience the expected fragrance, simply leave the room and then come back after 15-20 seconds.If you wish low smoke and high fragrance, please use cones instead. They are cheap and does the job. They are also easy to light up. Just burn the top part (1/2 cm to 3/4 cm) and then blow air to check if it is fully red from all angles.*White smoke - is it healthy*Well, it is better then black soot made up of carbon. A little bit of it inhaled does not produce much irritation, but if you are jerk and strongly inhale, then ... well you know what will happen. After you light up the cup, 1 or 2 depending upon the room area, and close the windows, you will be forced to open windows after 5 minutes due to excess smoke in your room. So don't be a miser and let others also feel the fragrance :) Open up the door*Mosquito Repellant expectation*It is more of the qty of smoke and not the eucalyptus, neem, etc strong or pungent smells that drive away mosquitos. I have seen mosquitoes comfortably sitting 12 inches away from dhoop smoke. Only when there is direct contact of smoke and mosquito it will run away. So close the room and door, stop the fan, spread the smoke in the entire room by taking it to all corners of room and blowing up smoke into those creepy areas where mosquitoes are supposed to hide using a hand fan or even a a card board of 6-8 inches square. Just take care that the smoke does not directly touch your hand, else it will burn. Its white smoke yet its not cool, its hot :). After room is fully filled with smoke making your eyes burn, open the windows and start the FAN in full speed, this will drive almost (yes not 100 %) mosquitoes. For that one mosquito, just make friends with her as she bites not him.So its five stars from me as far as this products is concerned. Hope this is helpful.

Smokes the room effectively

It is efficient, I have been using for a while. I place the cone in areas where mosquito enters the house or usually hide insidw the house, for next 2-3 days I experience much less mosquitos in the house. The aromais pleasant too. Good ventilation needed where this is placed. My pet does not seem to be bothered much too by this around. A great find to combat mosquito with health in Mind as this is a natural alternative to chemically made repellents

Once you light these cups - each cup works for only 5-8 mins andnthen it's over - so it's not really a mosquito reppent but just some smoke that smells ok for 5-8 mins - ....I still land up lighting a mosquito coil since that works for longer and better !! So much so for trying to do away with the coil !!!

Pathetic product, pungent smell, so tough to light up, utterly useless

The only product to get rid of mosquitos. Used it couple of times and all cleared. Hope they start selling in bulk with more discount.

It’s smoky but the stuff does its job !

It’s normal dhoop not a mosquito repellent. You could purchase dhoop with better smell for local market.
