**Q: Does it show stainless scratch marks?**
A: If you mean scratch marks from silverware mine does not. The set still looks brand new. I have been using daily since purchased last Spring. Great value and look for price. I qouls buy again.☺

**Q: Are they lead free?**
A: No, they are not lead free. I just called the company.

**Q: Does this dinnerware get uncomfortably hot when it is put in the microwave?**
A: Mug filled with water for tea and dinner plate to warm food did not get uncomfortably hot in microwave.

**Q: are they lead and cadmium free**
A: While researching this myself, I believe I read somewhere that Pfaltzgraff uses a lead-free glaze, but I may have read this from a blog. Per their website:"Pfaltzgraff, a Lifetime Brands company, stands behind the safety and quality of all of its products. All of our products are tested by accredited, independent laboratories and meet or exceed all federal standards relating to lead and other contaminants." Which doesn't necessarily mean it's 100% lead free, just meets fed standards. I personally asked about melamine, here's their response:"No melamine is added to our porcelain sets. We share your concern regarding harmful ingredients and that is why we have a rigorous testing program to ensure that our products meet all federal and state regulations"

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice set of dinnerware

I was hesitant to buy this set of dinnerware online without being able to see and feel it but after reading the reviews I decided to purchase it and I’m very pleased. So I decided to leave a review. I liked my last set of Pfaltzgaff but I felt it was too heavy. This set is not thin by any means it has some weight to it and seems like it will hold up well. I was also concerned about breakage but this set was packaged unbelievably well I was looking for a nice set of every day dishes these are a nice classic design and look great in white. The dinner plates are not quite as large as my last set but are definitely adequate. The bowls are a nice size and I like the mugs. I expect this set to hold up well my last set did. I had one slightly problem one of the dinner plates was slightly warped I emailed Pfaltzgaff and they responded to my email the next day saying they were sending a replacement great customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to order this set of dinnerware.
