You mean BPA. Yes, according to Illy’s website they use polypropylene with witholding temp 320F, so there is no risk of melting plastic

No, each company has their own design. It's unfortunate!

Q: Which illy capsule is everyone using for cappuccino or latte? And how many? I’ve tried the red, black and blue capsules - all tasted weak and thin.

The blue is smooth & rich and great for cappuccino or latte. It is rich tasting as long as you don't over pour it. I use the Illy cappuccino cups with 1pour close to top then add cream to top it off. But use 2 shots if you make a bigger one, otherwise you will water it down.

Pods only work with Illy espresso machine

Seller has not mentioned that these espresso PODS only work on Illy coffee machines. What as waste as product is not returnable or redfundable. ILLy coffee is excellent buy only if you have the Illy espresson machine
